Us Weekly says that prosecutors are ready to play some hardball with Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli. The couple who have been accused of using $500,000 to bribe their daughters way into USC via the forgery of some rowing credentials and the rich people’s College Admissions Scandal–have been using a plethora of bullshit excuses to get away with no jail time. They’ve accused the prosecution of hiding evidence. They’ve claimed they were bamboozled. They say that those staged pictures of Olivia Jade on a rowing machine never even got to the school. Then they said they never technically bribed anyone via a complex series of technicalities.
Well now prosecutors are tired of the semantics and minutiae, and are just going for a kill-shot. They’re giving Lori and Mossimo a choice: cop a plea or they’re going to call Olivia Jade and Isabella Rose to the stand.

Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannuli have been pleading not guilty up and down when it comes to their charges of money laundering and bribery in the College Admissions Scandal. They’ve come up with some pretty weird defenses like, the rowing pics which were falsified never went to USC, they didn’t know paying schools extra to let in your kid was illegal, and they thought the money they paid was going to help underprivileged children. Well, they found another defense. They wrote a check to USC directly and thus it cannot be a bribe. Also, those payments to school officials that look like bribes? Came after the girls admission so… no bribe!

We all thought it was stupid because she literally said nothing in the video and also because her parents have a trial coming up. After 9 months (her words, I’m for sure not counting) Olivia posted a new YouTube video titled: “hi again.” And while the video has now racked up like 1.3 million views, she says absolutely nothing of value and is getting lots of attention for it. Which I feel like is very on-brand for her.

Lori Loughlin has been in the news for so long because of this College Admissions Scandal. Lori is headed to trial for several charges including bribery and money laundering. Lori and her husband, Mossimo Giannuli are alleged to have used $500,000 to fake their daughter’s credentials in her application to USC. They were part of a huge sting that caught up a whole bunch of rich ass holes who thought that their money could get them out of everything but they were wrong! It can only get you out of most things! And this time: wasn’t one of them.
Lori has been losing her shit over the whole ordeal and gone back and forth about taking a plea. Now people are getting charged, with Felicity Huffman–who pled guilty–getting out of jail in 11 days while a guy who did pretty much the same thing Lori is accused of who also pled guilty got six months!
