Lori Loughlin Really Regrets Not Copping A Deal In Her College Admissions Scandal Like Felicity Huffman Did

It seems Lori Loughlin finally understands what anyone with any sort of common sense knew some time ago: She should have taken a deal like Felicity Huffman did after getting caught allegedly bribing her daughters’ way into college. There was talk that Lori and her husband Mossimo Giannulli believe that they’re going to be exonerated of all charges at trial. But now sources are saying that a bit of reason may have penetrated through the bubble of delusion that Lori is in.

Us Weekly says that after months of a long legal process, which is not even close to being done, Lori is getting exhausted and regrets her choices. I don’t think she regrets the whole USC-fixation, that awareness seems to not be coming to her just yet. But she really is second-guessing the whole not pleading guilty thing. A source is telling them that Lori regrets not taking a plea. Which is… something? The source says:

“Lori regrets not doing what Felicity [Huffman] did.”

Felicity of course copped a deal and pled guilty back in May and has been probably just chilling at home waiting for her minimum sentence or fine. But also Felicity spent $15,000 to get her daughter’s SAT scores bumped up–Lori hit that $500,000 mark for her alleged schemes, so like… Lori and Mossimo are in more trouble. A

We heard before that Mossimo is really the reason they didn’t take a deal, with a source telling Us previously that it would “ruin both of their careers.” It seems that Mossimo is really the one leading the charge that he and his wife are being unfairly targeted by the government because of their wealth. They’re worth an estimated $100 million together. Another source says Mossimo is convinced “they’ve done nothing wrong.”

Us Weekly also had sources telling them that Lori and Mossimo’s marriage is in trouble, and now this. I have a feeling that Lori’s side is not-so-secretly planting seeds for a dramatic courtroom moment where she will put her Hallmark Hall of Fame acting skills to work by turning on him and getting up to point and scream, “IT WAS ALL HIM!” Hopefully Lori can pull it off because her skin is much too delicate for the poly-blend of a prison jumpsuit. Mossimo’s skin, on the other hand, can handle it since he made clothes for the peasants of Target!
