November 18, 2022 / Posted by:

And now for some good news: The White Lotus has been renewed by HBO for a third season. The renewal comes three episodes into the second season, which is currently airing. Season one was set at the White Lotus resort in Hawaii, while season two is set at another White Lotus in Sicily. Jennifer Coolidge’s Tanya McQuoid and her shady-ass husband, played by Jon Gries (aka Uncle Rico from Napoleon Dynamite) are the only characters who have appeared in both seasons. So, where will Jennifer/Tanya travel next? Is there a White Lotus in Iceland? The people need to see Jennifer/Tanya get her tongue stuck to the wall of an ice hotel.

Kanye West Said Even More Insane Shit During His Tucker Carlson Interview, And His Episode Of “The Shop” Won’t Air Due To Hate Speech

October 12, 2022 / Posted by:

Last week, Kanye West did an interview with Tucker Carlson on Fox News where he doubled down on the White Lives Matter messiness and randomly criticized Lizzo’s body. Yesterday, Motherboard obtained unaired footage of the interview. Yep, some of what Yeezy said was too much for Fox News. Too much for Fox News. Let that sink in. In the newly released clips, 45-year-old Kanye continues his recent trend of making bigoted statements about Jewish people and claims “fake children” were planted in his house to manipulate his own children. Hoo boy. In other “Kanye did an interview and it was the opposite of sane” news, the HBO talk show, The Shop: Uninterrupted, will not air the episode they recently shot with Kanye. The reason will shock you. Actually, no it won’t. It was cuz he used hate speech.

HBO Picked Up “House Of The Dragon” For A Second Season

August 26, 2022 / Posted by:

This past Sunday, the Game of Thrones prequel, House of the Dragon, premiered on HBO. So many people tried to stream it at once that HBO Max actually crashed for some users. By the next morning, the premiere had scored 10 million viewers, making it the biggest series debut in HBO history. Five days later, another 10 million people jumped on the bandwagon. It’s a hit, a very palpable hit! And today, HBO announced that they’ve already renewed the show for a second season. Ugh, I hate to say it, but… I’m in. And if House of the Dragon shits the bed harder than Game of Thrones did in its final season, I only have myself to blame. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice? I’m a bigger moron than anyone who ever put their trust in (that sexy beast) Littlefinger.

Barbie Ferreira Announced That She’s Leaving “Euphoria”

August 25, 2022 / Posted by:

It seems like every time we hear about HBO’s acclaimed saga of dongs, drugs, and dark rooms, Euphoria, it’s due to the excess of on-set drama that creator, Sam Levinson, allegedly perpetuates. A few months ago it was rumored that model/actress Barbie Ferreira, who plays Kat Hernandez on the show, wasn’t seeing sparkly lined eye-to-eye with Sam and his ideas for the direction of her character. Despite Kat having a dynamic storyline in season 1, her scenes were largely cut in season 2. And now, Barbie announced that she’s done with Euphoria for good.

The Premiere Of “House of The Dragon” Caused HBO Max To Crash For Some Users

August 22, 2022 / Posted by:

Last night millions of households set themselves up for disappointment by streaming the premiere of House of the Dragon, the Game of Thrones prequel on HBO Max. And unlike last time when GOT fans had to wait approximately 34 years in between saying “hey, this Dragon show is kinda fun” in season one to saying “look how they massacred my boy,” as season eight nosedived into the Narrow Sea like a dragon who’d been shot out of the sky with a cannon loaded with all the discarded water bottles, Starbucks coffees and busted wigs that had been carelessly left laying around set, some viewers of HOtD were disappointed right out the gate. Variety reports that so many people tuned in to see what Matt Smith would look like if he were the third Nelson brother, that HBO Max crashed.

The Weeknd Showed A New Teaser Trailer For His HBO Drama “The Idol” At His Las Vegas Concert

August 22, 2022 / Posted by:

Anyone who’s been keeping tabs on the progress that Abel “The Weeknd” Tesfaye has been making with his and Sam Levinson’s HBO drama The Idol has had to keep their head on a swivel as the direction of the show and the members of the cast have been as back and forth as The Weeknd and Bella Hadid’s messy past relationship status. Last month, a teaser featuring cocaine, sex, and darkly lit rooms was released, which was to be expected since Sam, the controversial director of Euphoria, and The Weeknd, who loves coke, are at the helm. No premiere date for the show–which is about “a self-help guru and leader of a modern-day cult, who develops a complicated relationship with an up-and-coming pop idol–has been given, but we may be getting closer since this weekend The Weeknd played a new teaser for The Idol at his Saturday night concert in Las Vegas, according to Variety.
