Dr. Dre Is Recovering In The Hospital After Suffering A Brain Aneurysm
Dr. Dre is currently in the hospital, and no, it’s not to deal with a chronic shoulder muscle injury he sustained while dramatically whipping the prenup his estranged wife Nicole Young claimed he tore up. It’s because Dr. Dre suffered a brain aneurysm on Monday night, and was rushed to a hospital in Los Angeles. The good news for Dr. Dre is that his diagnosis looks good, and he’s recovering. The bad news is, while he was in the hospital, his house almost got robbed. And even when he finally gets discharged from his hospital room, his brain won’t get much of a rest. Because he still has to deal with the never-ending headache that is his ongoing messy divorce.
Dr. Dre Produced The Prenup Nicole Young Said He Tore Up (But Luckily For Her It Includes Spousal Support)
TMZ says that 55-year-old Dr. Dre has produced his prenup with 50-year-old Nicole Young. The two are in the middle of a messy divorce fight after 24 years of marriage. They’ve been fighting over heartfelt family mementos money with Nicole wanting $2 million a month in spousal support, claiming he tore the prenup to shreds years ago in a gesture of love. Nicole also claimed she co-owns the trademark on Dr. Dre’s name and he accused her of embezzling hundreds of thousands of dollars from his business. And Dre got a small victory in court when the judge rejected Nicole’s request for $1.5 million to pay for security and various expenses. The judge rejected that request since Dre is already covering Nicole’s expenses. But then Nicole swung back and accused him of emotional and physical abuse. Well, the pendulum doth swingeth back toward Dre’s side, because he brought out the prenup.

Dr. Dre, whose real name is Andre Romelle Young, and his estranged wife of 24 years, Nicole Young, are currently in the middle of a messy divorce fight. Nicole has claimed Dr. Dre dramatically tore up their prenup two decades ago in an act of love. Nicole also requested $2 million a month in temporary spousal support. She has also accused Dr. Dre of secretly transferring trademarks to a holding company, while he has accused her of burning through money like she’s starring in her own Lifetime movie about a scorned wife’s revenge.

According to Page Six, Nicole’s not about to forget about Dre because in addition to asking for $2 million a month in spousal support, she is suing him for “secretly” transferring valuable trademarks, including the name Dr. Dre “as well as his landmark album, ‘The Chronic,’” immediately after kicking her out of their home.
