Dr. Dre Produced The Prenup Nicole Young Said He Tore Up (But Luckily For Her It Includes Spousal Support)

TMZ says that 55-year-old Dr. Dre has produced his prenup with 50-year-old Nicole Young. The two are in the middle of a messy divorce fight after 24 years of marriage. They’ve been fighting over heartfelt family mementos money with Nicole wanting $2 million a month in spousal support, claiming he tore the prenup to shreds years ago in a gesture of love. Nicole also claimed she co-owns the trademark on Dr. Dre’s name and he accused her of embezzling hundreds of thousands of dollars from his business. And Dre got a small victory in court when the judge rejected Nicole’s request for $1.5 million to pay for security and various expenses. The judge rejected that request since Dre is already covering Nicole’s expenses. But then Nicole swung back and accused him of emotional and physical abuse. Well, the pendulum doth swingeth back toward Dre’s side, because he brought out the prenup.

In new court documents, Dre denies Nicole’s claim of emotional and physical abuse (so according to Dre, Nicole isn’t one of the women he’s sorry for abusing, I guess). Dre also produced his prenup with Nicole. Nicole is trying to argue that the prenup is not valid since Dre tore it up years ago. The prenup states that all property acquired since 1996 is separate.

According to the prenup, which was filed with the court and obtained by TMZ, all property they acquired from the beginning of the 1996 marriage is separate–what he acquires is his, and what Nicole Young acquires is hers.

But on the bright side for Nicole, the document states that she did not waive her right to spousal support. So if Nicole’s lawyers aren’t able to get the prenup thrown out, she’ll still be entitled to monthly spousal support. Although, it may not be the $2 million a month she wants.

As for that monthly sum, Nicole is asking the court for $2 million a month in spousal support. But, in these new legal docs, Dre’s lawyer, disso queen Laura Wasser, says Dre has voluntarily paid all of Nicole’s expenses since they split. The docs say he pays for the Malibu estate where she’s staying, security and when she wants cash, a messenger delivers it. Dre says $2 mil a month is ridiculous. His CPA filed a declaration saying her actual monthly expenses total $293,306.

I just had an out of body experience and screamed into the void for eleven years before returning to my corporeal form. $300,000 a month?

Dre also thinks it’s ridiculous that Nicole wants $5 million in attorney’s fees since he’s already paid nearly a million dollars to her lawyers. He adds that he’s given more money to Nicole’s lawyers than his own. And I’m sure Queen of Celebrity Divorce, Laura Wasser ain’t cheap!

As for Nicole’s lawyers asking for $5 million in attorney’s fees, Dre is calling BS, saying he’s already voluntarily paid nearly a million dollars in Nicole’s lawyer’s fees, and he adds the divorce wasn’t even filed until June. Nicole’s lawyers also have sent Dre’s lawyer a letter saying they’re owed another $1.5 mil to date … something Dre says is ridiculous. According to the docs, Dre has paid Nicole’s lawyers more than his own lawyers.

And remember how Nicole said he tore this prenup up to be romantic? Well, the gag is there’s a part in the prenup which actually says that the only way it can be “altered or terminated is in writing.” Bloop! Well, after Dre tore up the prenup in a romantic gesture, Nicole should’ve responded with another romantic gesture by asking Dre to sign a love note declaring that he’s terminating the prenup and then kissing it with a stamp from a notary.  Here’s hoping that Nicole #getsmoneybitch, but if she doesn’t, I won’t be surprised if she shows up on the steps of USC like, Hey, can I get half of that $70 million donation for my kid back? I paid for her too–so it counts as mine.”
