Lynne Spears Has Spoken About Jamie Spears Agreeing To Eventually Step Down As Britney’s Conservator
Christmas, Hannukah, New Year’s, Halloween, Arbor Day, Toyotathon, and every other calendar-year celebration came early for Britney Spears and the #FreeBritney movement when Britney’s father-slash-money manager-slash-alleged abusive puppetmaster Jamie Spears said he is “willing” to step down as her conservator after 13 years. That will be discussed at a hearing on September 29th. And Britney’s mom Lynne Spears gave her quick response to Jamie teasing his exit.
Lynne Spears Asked The Court To Let Britney Pick Her Own Lawyer

Lynne has piped up and petitioned the court to grant Brit Brit’s wish of choosing her own lawyer to represent her in her fight to finally take a sledgehammer to the ball and chain that is her 13-year conservatorship. Just a couple of days ago, Sam Ingham, Britney’s court-appointed lawyer since 2008, resigned, and so she needs a new attorney. And Lynne has backed up Britney and wants her to have a say in who her next lawyer is. Cut to Britney’s dad, Jamie Spears, putting on a “serious lawyer disguise” (read: Groucho Marx glasses, a very professional-looking clip-on tie, and a jacket pocket full of business cards that read “Justice McLaw, Serious Lawyer”) to try to get Britney to hire him as her new lawyer so he can get another check!

Well, the flaming turd bombs keep dropping on Daddy Spears’ lap. Because this morning, Brit Brit’s manager of 25 years, Larry Rudolph, put in his quittin’ papers and said that he can’t manage the career of someone who really doesn’t want to have a career anymore. And TMZ is hearing that Brit Brit’s court-appointed lawyer, Sam Ingham, is also going to put in his quittin’ papers and resign as her attorney. Cut to the #FreeBritney movement holding up ZERO scores after watching Larry Rudolph and Sam Ingham swan dive off of the sinking ship that is Brit Brit’s conservatorship.
Britney Spears Wants To End Her 13-Year Conservatorship For Once And For All
As expected, Britney Spears was finally able to rip off the muzzle that her conservators have been trying to keep over her mouth and spoke for herself today in a court hearing about her conservatorship. Brit’s testimony was far from the happy twirls and rainbow-colored words of positivity she lets out on Instagram. In fact, Britney says she isn’t happy at all and just wants to live her life under her own terms and wipe her own ass without someone popping into the bathroom to say, “Just want to make sure you’re using two toilet paper squares and not three.” Britney wants out of the conservatorship, accused her father of being a cold-hearted money-hungry abuser, and made it clear that she’s not here “to be anyone’s slave.” So Britney fans who have been asking for new stuff from her just got it. They got the emancipation remix of I’m A Slave 4 U called I’m NOT A Slave 4 U.
Jamie Spears’ Lawyers Have Accused Lynne Spears Of Meddling In Britney Spears’ Financial Business
We all know that when it comes to her conservatorship, Britney Spears would really, really, REALLY like it if her father, Jamie Spears, left her alone and stayed out of her business. As it turns out, Jamie Spears also likely has a Spears in his life that he wishes would back off and mind their own business when it comes to Britney’s conservatorship, and that’s his ex-wife Lynne Spears, who he claims has been sticking her nose in Britney’s coins and doing some unsolicited accounting.
Jamie Spears Says He’d Love To See Britney Spears Get Out Of Her Conservatorship
The #FreeBritney movement’s motives and goals are simple: they literally just want to hashtag-free Britney Spears from her nearly 13-year-long conservatorship. Specifically, to free Britney from the control of her father, Jamie Spears. Britney herself has made it very clear that her wish would be for either her father to step away from her business, or at least be made to work with a third party to prevent him from executing any shady business moves. Britney’s backup wish was granted last month when a judge decided that Jamie would have to co-conserve with Bessemer Trust. Still, anyone familiar with the #FreeBritney movement, or those who watched Framing Britney Spears, probably think it would be in Britney’s best interest to just do away with the whole conservatorship thing altogether. Guess what? Jamie Spears claims that he’s totally right there with all of you, and also absolutely, sincerely wishes that Britney was free. Hmmm…where’s that Hot Dog Guy meme when you need it.
