A ton of celebrities are COVID-19 positive these days, but not because they were at one of Jeff Lewis‘ superspreader events. People says that Hugh Jackman, Whoopi Goldberg, Debra Messing, LL Cool J, and Jessie J have all tested positive for Coronavirus recently. And it’s really hit the late-night circuit too, as hosts of the big-name late shows are dropping like flies. Jimmy Fallon recently had COVID, Seth Meyers just announced he has COVID, and now James Corden has also got COVID. Novak Djokovic Was Denied Entry Into Australia Over Vaccine Requirements
Novak Djokovic remains the undefeated current reigning champion, at least when it comes to the outright refusal of COVID vaccinations. But I guess you could say he’s also a two-time winner of watching the consequences of his actions bite him in the ass. Two years ago, Novak (or should I say NoVax) revealed that there was no way his bare arm was going to get anywhere near a vaccination needle when it comes to COVID protection. Then about sixteen seconds later, he and his wife Jelena Ristić had tested positive for COVID. Obviously, they were some of the lucky ones, and they both pulled through. However, they clearly didn’t get a high enough dose of a survivor’s reality check, because they hung on tight to that anti-vaccination energy. Well, Novak isn’t just a prolific anti-vaxxer, he’s also a tennis player. And he was scheduled to play in the Australian Open, which begins next Monday. He was all ready to enter the land down under and hit some balls, but Australia had other plans. Unvaccinated Novak was turned away upon arrival.

The Rise In COVID Cases Has Forced The Critics’ Choice Movie Awards To Postpone Its Ceremony
The 27th Critics’ Choice Movie Awards were scheduled to happen on January 9th, 2022, but that’s not going to happen now, and it’s all Madame Omicron’s fault. It’s usually held every year in the second week of January, right after the Golden Globe Awards. But just like last year, January is going to be pretty lonely for those who want to watch famous people dressed impeccably expensive as they clutch trophies and breathlessly thank their managers. The Golden Globes aren’t going to be airing on television as they always do. Instead, they’re doing…something. We’re not really sure what that is yet. But we know it ain’t happening on NBC. Now the Critics’ Choice Awards are folding for the moment. They’ll still happen, just not on January 9th as planned.
