The Sex and the City revival And Just Like That... finally comes out on HBO Max this Thursday, but it’s not Thursday yet, so its long, slow promotional march continues, with Chris Noth giving an interview to The Guardian. Chris was asked about Kim Cattrall not returning to the new series, and he says that he wasn’t happy about her comments about Sarah Jessica Parker being a toxic fake-nice biotch. Chris says that Kim’s descriptions of SJP “don’t even come close” to the person he knows and the whole thing was “sad and uncomfortable.” But not as uncomfortable as Sex and the City 2, right? RIGHT?!
The Daily Mail Claims That Mr. Big And Steve Will Return For The “Sex And The City” Revival
The Daily Mail is excluuusively revealing that Chris Noth and Steve Eigenberg, who played Mr. Big and Steve in Sex and the City, will in fact appear in the upcoming HBO Max revival, entitled And Just Like That. Up until now, we were all under the impression that neither character would return. There have been online rumors that Mr. Big either died (the Revenge of Natasha?) or went to prison for a white-collar crime (and Carrie left him). But maybe not, because the Daily Mail claims a “senior production source” says, “Viewers will definitely see Big, Aiden, and Steve.” Oh wow! All three heartthrobs! Be still my quivering clit!
Mr. Big Will Not Be In The “Sex And The City” Revival, And There’s A Chance That Steve Won’t Be In It Also
It looks like the chair marked “Samantha” won’t be the only empty chair on the Sex and the City revival set. HBO Max has greenlit a limited 10-episode SATC revival titled And Just Like That…, the latest update of which is that David Eigenberg, aka Steve the Bartender aka Miranda’s husband, might not be back. And that Chris Noth, aka Mr. Big, will definitely not be back. And just like that…John Corbett’s agent started speed-flipping through their Rolodex for HBO Max’s contact information.
Mr. Big Was Going To Die In The Third “Sex And The City” Movie
People are still licking their wounds over a lost paycheck from Sex And The City 3 getting the kibosh. Kim Cattrall did us all a solid by saying she didn’t want anything to do with a third movie. Or she did but had demands for other movies unrelated to Sex that nobody wanted to do, and that’s why it got shelved. Either way, Kim is why there isn’t a third movie, and they should honestly erect a giant statue in her honor. Her old castmates don’t exactly agree, and they’re still blabbing about why it never happened. One new reason that just dropped is they were going to kill of Chris Noth’s Mr. Big early in the film, and Kim didn’t like how it was going to be all about how Carrie recovered. Yet again – even more reason not to make it!
