Okay, So James Cameron’s Scientific “Titanic” Door Study Proved It’s Possible That Jack Could’ve Survived After All

Titanic (the movie) turned 25 this past December, and leading up to its anniversary, its director James Cameron has been talking a lot about it. James already let us know that Leonardo DiCaprio almost didn’t play Jack because he wasn’t interested in auditioning. And then, last month, it was announced that James had conducted an extremely important study to prove that there’s no way Jack could’ve survived if Rose made room for him on that door. And he put theories to the test in a new National Geographic special that shows Rose was not just being selfish and using Jack for conversation until the lifeboats arrived. And well, James was wrong because there is a way that Jack could’ve lived BUT…
Open Post: Hosted By Kate Winslet’s Confusing Hair On The Poster For The 25th Anniversary Re-Release Of “Titanic”

SPOILER ALERT: Titanic from Titanic sinks, and Leonardo DiCaprio’s character, Jack Dawson, dies at the end. And for 25 years (holy shit), people have been going back and forth about if Jack would’ve lived if only Kate Winslet’s Rose DeWitt Bukater were more generous with a portion of her broken-off door flotation device. James Cameron even tried to put the whole “Jack could’ve survived if Rose wasn’t a selfish betch” thing to rest by conducting a scientific study. But we can put that debate to rest for a little while as the anniversary theater re-release approaches because a new controversy just came into play, and the internet wants to know what in the RuPaul’s Drag Race’s Silky Nutmeg Ganache’s “Barbie Girl” lip sync wig was the graphic designer who created this poster thinking?!
Open Post: Hosted By James Cameron’s Scientific Study To Prove Jack Couldn’t Survive On That Floating Door In “Titanic”

JACK DAWSON IS DEAD. He froze to death in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean in the wee hours of April 15, 2012, following the Titanic’s sinking. The question is… did Jack (Leonardo DiCaprio) have to die? Rose (Kate Winslet) survived by floating on a door. Could Jack have also fit on that door and lived? In the 25 years since Titanic was released, many have asked this very important question. 47-year-old Kate Winslet is out there promoting another James Cameron project, Avatar: The Way of Water, and when she was asked, she answered, “I don’t fucking know.” But guess who does fucking know? James Fucking Cameron. In a Postmedia interview via the Toronto Sun, 68-year-old James revealed he literally commissioned a scientific study to “put this whole thing to rest and drive a stake through its heart once and for all.” The result? There was no way both Jack and Rose could have survived. RIP Jack Dawson. You were the hottest Leo’s ever been.
James Cameron Says That Leonardo DiCaprio Almost Didn’t Get Cast In “Titanic” Because He Didn’t Want To Audition

The timeless tale of a vagabond’s dalliance with a door-hogging socialite, Titanic, marks its twenty-fifth anniversary this year. At this point, anyone who has seen it will never let go of the love they have for Jack and Rose, but according to director James Cameron, Kate and Leow were almost cast aas teary-eyed theatergoers instead of the film’s stars. And in a recent interview with GQ (via CNN), James admits had to be convinced by both Kate and Leo that they were right for the part.
Open Post: Hosted By The Cat Who Replaced Kate Winslet In A “Titanic” Parody

Today Kate Winslet woke up in her modest 3-bedroom bungalow in the suburbs of London. She made breakfast, sent her kids to school, did a little Facebooking, and then drove to the biscuit factory, where she works as an assistant manager. It may be shocking, but we no longer live in a reality where Kate shot to global superstardom as Rose DeWitt Bukater in Titanic. That role has been retroactively re-cast with a fluffy black cat named Lizzy, stage name: OwlKitty. Thanks to the power of the green screen, OwlKitty’s the one who made out with Leonardo DiCaprio on the bow of the ship. OwlKitty’s the one who laid on that couch, titties out. OwlKitty’s the one who was nominated actually WON the 1997 Oscar for Best Actress. Continue reading
Kate Winslet “Couldn’t Stop Crying” When She Reunited With Leonardo DiCaprio After 3 Years

Kate Winslet did an interview with The Guardian to reflect on the success of Mare of Easttown, the pandemic, and her career. And since they discussed Kate Winslet’s career, the subject of Titanic inevitably reared its iconic, Oscar-winning head (err, bow). And with Titanic comes Jack Dawson, aka Leonardo DiCaprio. Kate, 46, says she didn’t see her buddy Leo, 47, for three years because of the pandemic, and when they recently reunited in LA, she “couldn’t stop crying.” Was it because Leo was with his Gen-Z girlfriend, Camila Morrone, and Kate realized the 24-year-old was born the same year Titanic premiered??
