Sydney Sweeney Says Her Comments About Her Nude Scenes On “Euphoria” Got Twisted

March 15, 2022 / Posted by:

There has been a lot of alleged behind-the-scenes drama with HBO’s high school series Euphoria. There’s been allegations of a hellish” and “toxic work environment, excessively long shoot days, clashes between cast and creator Sam Levinson, and of course, the many conversations around the show’s frequent nudity. Several actresses from the show have spoken about Sam Levinson’s on-set requests for nude scenes, with some, like Minka Kelly and Chloe Cherry, expressing that they felt blindsided by the choice to have their characters go topless or fully nude. Sydney Sweeney has also spoken about Sam’s requests for an absence of clothing, but I shouldn’t count on her to provide a quote for that tell-all. Sydney would like to clarify the comments she made, and she’s expressed that her original thoughts were taken out of context.

HBO Defends “Euphoria” Against The Allegations Of A “Hellish” Work Environment

March 5, 2022 / Posted by:

Last month, The Daily Beast posted a piece about the messiness going down behind the scenes of Euphoria, including creator Sam Levinson allegedly cutting the screen time of Barbie Ferriera, who plays Kat Hernandez, after the two had a fight about where her character was going. A week after Euphoria‘s season 2 finale aired, The Daily Beast did a follow-up article with more stories from crew members and background actors about how things behind-the-scenes of the show are messier than Jules’ bathroom wastebasket after she takes off all that fairy raver makeup at the end of the night. And those who have heard cast members Sydney Sweeney, Minka Kelly, and Chloe Cherry talk about how they had to push back against filming unnecessary nude scenes are probably bracing themselves for sexual harassment allegations. But these allegations are from anonymous crew members and background actors who say that they’re expected to work long ass hours with not enough breaks and that production is very disorganized since Sam Levinson likes to shoot “off the cuff.” But of course, HBO is defending their second most-watched show of all time because DUH!

The Audition Process For The Role Of Madonna In Her Biopic Is Reportedly “Grueling”

March 3, 2022 / Posted by:

As we know, Madonna is currently working on her own biopic for Universal Pictures with Madge herself directing and co-writing it. Madge wrote the first draft with Diablo Cody (who reportedly quit that bitch) and is now reportedly working with screenwriter Erin Wilson on the script. Auditions are currently happening to find the lucky actress who will be screamed at by Madonna for not doing it right play Madonna in the movie. And sources say that the process is pretty much as insane as you’d expect and one person called it “grueling.” Do the auditioning actresses have to pretend that Hard Candy is a good album? Brutal!

Julia Garner, Sydney Sweeney, And Barbie Ferreira Have All Reportedly Auditioned For The Madonna Biopic

March 1, 2022 / Posted by:

The Madonna biopic, co-written by Diablo Cody (maybe) and directed by Madge herself, continues to chug along. Last we heard, Uncut Jahhhms star Julia Fox went to dinner with Madonna to “talk about” the movie. Now The Ankler is reporting that Euphoria actresses Sydney Sweeney and Barbie Ferreira have officially auditioned, as well as Ozark and Inventing Anna star Julia Garner. If the role requires snot, tears, and tits, go with Sydney. If they want more tough New Yorker, go with Julia. And if Madge wants to cast a sycophant who’s easy to boss around, don’t go with Barbie.

Minka Kelly Is The Latest Actress Who Pushed Back Against The Nudity On “Euphoria”

February 17, 2022 / Posted by:

On HBO’s Euphoria (aka the show that D.A.R.E. hates), it’s not exactly a shock to see someone’s nipples or wiener. But there have been some actresses on the show who decided the nudity wasn’t necessary to the scene or their character’s development, and they chose to keep their clothes on. Like Minka Kelly, who was blindsided on her first day at work with a production note to get naked.
