The “Game Of Thrones” Showrunners Suddenly Dropped Out Of A Comic-Con Panel

Showrunners run, that’s what they’re supposed to do. And David Benioff and Dan Weiss of Game Of Thrones infamy are doing just that; running away as fast as they can. D&D were scheduled to appear on a panel at Comic-Con tomorrow, but HBO just released the final lineup and their names are missing. These two gingerbread men are not trying to get caught out here with their smallclothes down around their ankles in front of a mob of angry nerds. Not today, R’hllor!
They’re Only Making Super-Hero Movies Now, Part 2: Marvel At Comic-Con

A fresh glimpse of a shirtless Chris Hemsworth is probably the best part of this story. Marvel took a huge infodump (how nicely put) at San Diego Comic-Con this weekend. Do they even HAVE actual comics at SDCC? DC announced a whole mess of superhero movies coming down the pike (via Digital Spy). We’re talking YEARS of super-hero movies. And yet, still no Wonder Twins flick. For shame! Here’s the round-up. (For those of you who don’t care, I’m sure we’ll eventually have a non-geek post soon.) Continue reading
Another Blair Witch Project Sequel Is Coming

Prepare to find mysterious teeth in a pile of twigs outside of your tent, and to jump the fuck out of your seat at very little. They announced that there’s another sequel to 1999’s The Blair Witch Project on the way at San Diego Comic-Con yesterday.
