Jussie Smollett’s Trial For Disorderly Conduct Has Begun With Jury Selection
Jussie Smollett, better known as The Boy Who Cried MAGA, is in court today standing trial on six charges of felony disorderly conduct stemming from his January 2019 report that he’d been the victim of a hate crime. Jussie was initially charged with 16 felony counts when it was discovered his story was fishier than a Subway tuna fish sandwich. Sorry, bad example! Fishier than a Subway Baja Chicken and Bacon sandwich, which is actually the only thing on their menu that contains actual tuna! At least that’s what Jussie told me. But those previous charges were dropped by Kim Foxx at the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office, which seemed even fishier still, prompting outrage and a special investigation into the matter. So now, charges are back on the table and at trial we might finally learn the TRUTH that has been eluding us for almost three years — What is Jussie’s go to Subway order? Is it fake tuna or phony baloney?
The Jussie Smollett Case Will Go To Trial After His Dismissal Request Was Denied
It feels like it was a million years ago when the country was swept up in the miniseries called The Boy Who Cried Hate! starring Jussie Smollett. Back in 2019, it was alleged that the hate crime Jussie suffered at the hands of MAGA hat-wearing racists was orchestrated by Jussie himself! It was the worse episode of Scooby-Doo ever. Jussie tried to have the case dismissed but that request was denied and the trial will be moving forward.
Jussie Smollett Still Swears He Didn’t Stage A Fake Hate Crime
Back in January 2019, Jussie Smollett claimed he was the victim of a MAGA-incited hate crime by two masked men in Chicago while he was filming Empire. Jussie swore the situation wasn’t a hoax or a publicity stunt, but even still, updates to the situation made it appear that, yeah, it was a hoax or a publicity stunt. Jussie recently appeared on an Instagram Live interview to discuss his ongoing lawsuit against the Chicago Police Department, and Jussie is still playing the innocent card.
Jussie Smollett Is Suing The City Of Chicago
Jussie Smollett is being sued by the city of Chicago because they’re saying that he wasted their time by fraudulently claiming that he was attacked by MAGAs. Since the charges were dropped for mysterious circumstances, Chicago got mad. Jussie believes they couldn’t get what they considered justice by prosecuting him, so instead they demanded he pay up for forcing them into overzealously looking into him as though they had no other crimes to investigate. Well, guess what? Jussie can sue too! He’s suing Chicago and company for malicious prosecution.
Jussie Smollett’s Lawyers Are Blaming The Chicago Police For Investigating His “Hate Crime”
It’s crazy to think that earlier this year the world became outraged when Jussie Smollett claimed he was attacked in Chicago by MAGA-loving, bodybuilding, abominable snowmen, because let’s not forget it was colder than Queen Elsa’s ass back in January. But once all the pieces of the puzzle stopped adding up, police accused Jussie of staging the racist hate crime for attention. Jussie was initially charged for faking it all, but then all charges were mysteriously dropped. The City of Chicago then demanded that Jussie pay $130,000 for what they spent on police overtime and other costs while investigating. Jussie refused, and so they sued. Now in a last ditch effort to keep Jussie from paying up, his legal team is blaming the police department for even investigating the alleged attack in the first place.
Chicago PD Released A Lot More Evidence In The Jussie Smollett Case, Including Footage Of Him With A Rope Around His Neck
Chicago PD has been releasing all of the evidence that made them go from looking at Jussie Smollett as the victim of a hate crime to the diabolical STUNT QUEEN mastermind of a fake hate crime. They already released the 911 call made by Jussie’s friend/manager/whatever that night, and now they’ve released hours upon hours of footage that includes police cam footage of Jussie in his apartment with the rope around his neck and talking about how he has bleach all over him. Never mind that the neat freak in me wants to jump through the screen to scream at everyone, “How can you just stand there when there’s all that shit on the counter over there?!“, I am more disturbed by Jussie’s sweater. That sweater looks exactly like one my abuelita bought at the Tijuana/San Diego border and wore for centuries. Excuse me while I contact the Chicago PD to file a thieving bitch report against Jussie.
