The Creators Of An Upcoming Biopic Want Lily James To Play Anna Nicole Smith

May 31, 2022 / Posted by:

Okay, so the good news is that another biopic is in the works about the tragic life of icon Anna Nicole Smith. And I’m not implying the bad news here is that it might star Lily James (I would never put out such pessimistic energy towards a project about my beloved misunderstood bimbo angel). All we know so far is that The Daily Mail believes that there’s a chance Lily James will once again be bringing her best 90s bubbly blonde bombshell energy in a biopic that might have people once again admitting, “Huh, well what do you know – I guess she does sort of pull it off.

Dakota Johnson Will Reportedly Star In A Marvel Movie As “Madame Web”

February 3, 2022 / Posted by:

Forget for a second that “Madame Web” sounds like what you’d get if the 50 Shades of Gray franchise crossed over with the characters of Charlotte’s Web. But this isn’t what this is! Madame Web is a Marvel comic book character who first appeared in The Amazing Spider-Man #210, published in 1980, and she’s about to become a big-screen star with a film adaptation. And according to some well-placed sources, Madame Web herself will be played by none other than Dakota Johnson.

Jonah Hill Will Play Jerry Garcia In Martin Scorsese’s Grateful Dead Biopic

November 18, 2021 / Posted by:

Jonah Hill is clearly not satisfied with hearing the words “two-time Oscar nominee,” and wants to increase the number to three, or even “Oscar-winner Jonah Hill“, because Deadline has announced that he will be playing the late psychedelic jam band legend Jerry Garcia in a biopic directed by Martin Scorsese for Apple. Of course, the ice cream-gobbling maniac in me got way too excited about this project until I realized with great disappointment it wasn’t a movie about Cherry Garcia. But this is good too, I guess.

Britney Spears’ Fiancé Sam Asghari Got Cast In The Mel Gibson Movie “Hot Seat”

October 27, 2021 / Posted by:

Sam Asghari isn’t just a hot guy who happens to be Britney Spears’ current fiancé and one of her loudest cheerleaders. Sam is also an “actor” and he’s going to marry a very rich, very famous person, and one would think that he doesn’t have to work so hard for that money anymore. But as a recent career choice has proven, Sam might still be picking gigs with whatever part of his brain tells him to say yes to everything because a check is a check. Or maybe Sam is in the dark about what Mel Gibson has been up to since that gory Jesus movie? Whatever the motivation, what we do know is that Sam has been cast in an upcoming action thriller starring Mel called Hot Seat. Ironically, the hot seat will also be what Sam is sitting in when he does press for this movie and is asked, “So, you decided to work with that person because…?

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Showtime is working on a limited series about 1980s-era Joan Rivers, and the woman who will ask, “Can we tawk?” is none other Kathryn Hahn. June 8, 2021 / Posted by:

In network television’s grand tradition of taking a beloved Broadway musical and asking, “But what if this was also a drinking game?“, NBC’s latest musical-turned-television event will be Annie Live!. It will air in December, and while NBC is still trying to figure out which precocious child actor will be belting out “Tomorrow,” they’ve cast Taraji P. Henson as their Miss Hannigan.
