Beyonce, Rihanna, And Taylor Swift Are Reportedly Doing Tours Next Year
Now that everything from gas to gum costs more than it should, this is the perfect time for musicians to announce major, money-grabbing tours. Now, this comes as no surprise for Beyonce, who poured some sugar upon the world titled Renaissance back in July. But now that Rihanna is making her return to performing by doing the Super Bowl Halftime Show, she may take it to the next level and do a whole world tour. And since Taylor Swift can’t be outdone by these other broads, so she also may be announcing her tour, to support her new album Midnights, sooner than we think.
Open Post: Hosted By The Thank You Note Beyonce Sent Madonna For Her Help With The “Break My Soul” Remix
As Renaissance continues to provide the soundtrack for the BeyHive’s lives, Beyonce knows she can only stay stagnant for so long. Although Renaissance‘s first single Break My Soul is #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, Beyonce decided to remix the song with Madonna‘s iconic 1990 hit Vogue, calling it The Queens Remix. As a thank you for her assistance, Beyonce literally gave Madonna her flowers as well as a note that Madge immediately posted to her Instagram so everyone knows she’s still cool.
Beyoncé Has Removed Kelis’ “Milkshake” From Her Song “Energy” And Now Monica Lewinsky Wants To Be Removed From “Partition”
The drama with Beyoncé’s new album, Renaissance started with early leaks. Next, Kelis screamed “I HATE YOU SO MUCH RIGHT NOW!!!” for using her voice on a track without permission. Then, Beyoncé removed an ableist slur from another track. And THEN OG songwriter Diane Warren felt a million bee stings from the ‘Hive (led by The-Dream) when she questioned their queen’s creative process. And now, after removing Kelis’ Milkshake from the track Energy, Monica Lewinsky is wondering if Beyonce’ can work her magic once again to remove her name from 2013’s Partition.
The-Dream Read Diane Warren On Twitter After She Threw Shade At Beyoncé’s Track “Alien Superstar” For Having 24 Writers
I knew as soon as Beyoncé released her seventh studio album Renaissance the Beyhive would be ready to fight for their queen if any blasphemy surfaced. Kelis gets the day off. Because today, blasphemy’s new name is Diane Warren, the prolific songwriter who has penned hits for everyone from Aaliyah to Aerosmith to Celine Dion. Diane has even worked with Beyoncé before on the song I Was Here. But to members of the Beyhive, and super producer The-Dream, she’s just some out-of-touch old lady who clearly doesn’t understand the songwriting process and decided to get the Hive going. Because the moment she questioned why one of Renaissance‘s tracks has 24 writers on it, The-Dream led the charge against Diane with a reminder that NO ONE can ever speak ill of Beyoncé during her current reign.
Beyoncé’s “Renaissance” Contains The Same Ableist Slur That Lizzo Recently Had To Remove From Her Single, And Her Team Says It Will Be Changed
Beyoncé finally released her seventh studio album, Renaissance, on Friday. While reviews and sales have been strong (it’s expected to sell at least 275,000 copies in its first week, meaning it will debut at #1), and the Beyhive declared it the best thing since Jesus Christ himself invented sliced bread, the album drop wasn’t seamless. First, it leaked two days early. Then, Kelis got pissed that Beyoncé used a sample of “Milkshake” without her permission. Now, HuffPo reports that Bey’s getting shit for including the ableist slur “sp*z” in the song “Heated”, which was co-written by Drake. In it, Beyoncé sings: “Sp*zzin’ on that ass, sp*z on that ass. Fan me quick, girl, I need my glass.” You may be reading this and thinking: “Damn, didn’t this just happen? Or have I officially lost my mind? Sigh. I guess it’s time to finally book that lobotomy.” No! STOP! It did just happen. With Lizzo and her single, “Grrrls”! Continue reading
Beyoncé Calls Out Her “Renaissance” Album Leakers While Kelis Calls Her Out For Song Sampling Without Permission
Today is Hallelujah Honey Day! Better known to the Beyhive as the day their God Beyoncé finally released her highly anticipated seventh album Renaissance. When Beyoncé first announced her new album, the Beyhive whipped into a frenzy, especially after unleashing her latest hit single Break My Soul. But then the album leaked early and the Beyhive jumped into formation to tell people not to download it. Well, Beyoncé has words for those who leaked her album. But little did she know that she would also have to face some shock and awe from Kelis. Kelis is pissed that her 2003 hit song Milkshake was sampled for one of Renaissance’s tracks without her knowledge or permission.
