Beyoncé’s New Album, “Renaissance”, Has Leaked Two Days Early
Ruh-roh! Beyoncé’s album, Renaissance, has been leaked 36 hours ahead of its scheduled July 29 midnight release date. Fans spotted CD copies of the album for sale in stores in France and the Netherlands and posted about it on Twitter. It’s unclear if it was a calculated move, or a simple screw-up, with the stores’ employees putting the CDs out too early. Either way, it didn’t take long for some dastardly European pirate to burn the CD (O.M.G., retro!), rip the tracks into MP3s, and upload the music to the Internet. Variety reports that they easily found “high-quality flac files that certainly sound like the album within a matter of minutes.” TMZ says that the songs “Alien Superstar,” “Church Girl” and “Cuff It” are all making the rounds on social media. Needless to say, the Beyhive is pissed. They’re ready to take the leaker out like the bees did Thomas J. from My Girl!

However, Queen Bey is taking a different approach this time, especially by making sure she checked up on all of her collaborators. And of course, there will be anthems about love and heartache. But the one thing she’s never had on any album is the iconic Grace Jones, who will be making an appearance on Renaissance.
Beyoncé Reportedly Ran #MeToo Checks On Collaborators On Her New Album “Renaissance”
You may remember a little song called Drunk in Love from Beyoncé’s 2013 self-titled album Beyoncé. Welp, producer Detail (government name: Noel Fisher) was later arrested in August 2020 and charged with raping five women and sexually assaulting a sixth between the years of 2010 and 2018. Noel has denied the accusations, but Beyoncé is not going to have some shit like this come out again about someone who makes a hit for her. So much so that everyone who worked on her new album, Renaissance, which comes out on July 29, got the once-over and was checked for skeletons in their closet. I’m sure that Beyoncé has been doing these checks on people since her sister Solange had to square up with her husband Jay-Z on that elevator after he allegedly banged Rachel Roy–OR Rachael Ray, depending on who you ask. Can’t surprise Beyoncé twice!

Two weeks ago, Beyoncé announced that Renaissance, her seventh studio album, will be released on July 29. Then, nine days ago she dropped the first single, “Break My Soul”. Today Beyoncé once again blessed us, this time with the Renaissance cover art. In it, a near-naked Bey sits atop a glowing horse (she also did the horse thing for her recent British Vogue cover). Fans are already comparing the image to John Collier’s 19th-century painting of Lady Godiva and Bianca Jagger’s iconic equine moment at Studio 54. Beyonce Released “Break My Soul,” The First Single From Her Upcoming “Renaissance” Album
I must admit I wasn’t ready for Beyonce‘ to drop any new music just yet. After she recently announced she was pregnant with a new album I figured she would take her sweet time and string us along for months until BAM! Renaissance would just appear and the world would melt with delight. But this time around she’s taking a more traditional approach by deciding to release a single, Break My Soul, ahead of her album’s release. And of course, the Beyhive is creaming their jeans in anticipation now that their Queen has blessed them once again with a new anthem for summertime and beyond.

You definitely already know this news because I’m sure you were woken up in the middle of the night by an extremely loud buzzing alarm and you thought it was the end of the world. But please, this is BIGGER news. It was from the Beyhive ringing the alarm that their lord, savior, and the reason why they were given the sense of hearing (to hear Beyonce with) and the sense of sight (to see Beyonce with) is back! Seen above in a candid shot from British Vogue of her casually riding into Sunday brunch, Beyonce announced that her seventh studio album, Renaissance, will drop from the heavens on July 29. That day was supposed to be National Lasagna Day, and I say “was supposed to be” because all the holidays on that day have been wiped away to make room for International Beyonaissance Day!
