Caitlyn Jenner Is Going To Be On “Transparent”
Former Olympian athlete and member of the Kar Krash Klub (not to be confused with the KKK) is going to appear on Transparent. Kaitlyn Jenner, the one member of Trans People for Republicans, has been confirmed to have an as yet undisclosed part in the Amazon show. Thank god she got another show now that I Am Kancelled is done. Like all her relatives, if she isn’t in front of a kamera, she withers away and dies. Phew! Very generous of show creator, Jill Soloway, to come in and be a good samaritan.
ABC News reported that Jill confirmed the casting choice at the GLAAD Awards on Saturday. Jill described the partnership as “a dream come true” and said it was easy to get Kaitlyn because they “are all part of the same community. A lot of the transwomen who work on our show are also in her show, ‘I am Cait,’ Lots of crossover. Lots of friends.” I give her props for being kind and koncerned enough to be like “that snoozy mess is gone and those transwomen need jobs, let me sort this out.”
I’m hoping her character is more based on life than a totally made up character. Maybe she’ll play an out of control reality TV personality with a makeup addiction who, literally, crashes into the show when she rear ends Jeffrey Tambor’s character, Maura Pfefferman, while on her way to take a stunning and brave selfie. Regardless, this is clearly some good PR. Between her show getting the axe and all the nonsense, NONSENSE, that’s been dribbling out of her plumped, plucked and tucked lips, Kaitlyn needs some good image adjustment. Buckle up, buckaroos, for Kaitlyn rides again!
And here’s Jill, Alexandra Billings and Amy Landecker of Transparent at last night’s GLAAD Awards:
Sean Young Talks Catwoman (Again) And Hollywood Horrors
Hollywood… Might as well call it Hollyweird! It’s a tough town if you don’t shut up and play by the rules. Just ask Hollyweird ex-communicado extraordinaire, Sean Young! Sean was one of Hollyweird’s brightest rising stars back in the 80s – and is still a huge A-List star here at DListed – but then got iced out after a series of decisions that, frankly, should have made her the biggest star of all time! She gave her all at trying to get the part of Catwoman in Batman Returns, got fired from Dick Tracy, got replaced in the first Batman movie after breaking her arm and has more recently appeared on Celebrity Rehab and Skating with Celebrities. How all of this doesn’t make her the top actress and head of every studio I have no idea.
The Catwoman that never was sat down with The Hollywood Reporter to talk about her heyday, her reputation and what it was like being a lady with a loud mouth and an opinion in 80s Hollywood. I know a lot of people might read the interview with the word “DELUSIONAL” popping out at them repeatedly, and there are some very “what? what are you talking about?” moments, but it’s overall pretty incredible. To some, Sean was a mess of epic proportions but to her, she was just doing her job and standing up for herself! Occasionally in a latex catsuit. In public. Or on a studio lot, uninvited.
Hot Slut Of The Day!
Donna Allen!
When reader Angela slipped Donna Allen’s HSOTD nomination into my inbox the other day, she included that picture. At first, I mistook Donna Allen for Heather B from The Real World and thought that was the cover of Heather B’s long-lost pop single from the 80s!
Donna Allen is a Florida-born blossom who had a few minor R&B and dance hits in the 80s. Donna Allen’s biggest hit was 1986’s “Serious,” which I don’t remember at all. I don’t know if “Serious” ever filled my ear holes back then, but I do know for a fact that the video never touched my eyeballs. Because there’s no amount of weed that could make me forget all the 80s glamour this video brings.
This video had me at the gay gang of hotness (including 80s gay Che Guevara), but it really had me when the camera cut to Donna Allen busting out moves in her apartment while wearing a banana peel-ass leotard. And it really, really had me when Donna Allen and the gay gang of hotness meet and she delivers a tornado of a dance move (at the 1:50 mark) that makes it look like she’s having some kind of medical emergency. Like most videos from the mid-80s, Donna and her dancing gang of hot tricks gets into a dance-off with the gay gang of hotness led by her ex-boyfriend who also raps.
I should never question an 80s goddess in a yellow Spandex leotard, but I question Donna Allen for leaving a hot piece with an orgasm-incuding ponytail mullet and impeccable fashion sense. That ponytail mullet dude can play as many games as he wants with me as long as he keeps dressing like a house painter in an 80s gay porn.
Donna Allen tried to make a comeback in 2013 when she auditioned for The Voice. Donna ended up on Team Adam and was eventually knocked out during the Battle Rounds. I take it that Donna Allen didn’t do her tornado dance move during the Battle Rounds, because if she did, she would’ve knocked out all of the other contestants and the judges. And you know the music industry is in a sad state when the likes of Donna Allen has to audition for Adam Levine instead of the other way around!

Open Post: Hosted By Benedict Cumberbatch As Doctor Strange
We’ve seen Benedict Cumberbatch in his Wishmaster drag, but the paps got some super awesome totally cool action shots of him filming Doctor Strange in NYC today. The costume looks, umm, made of materials. But I shouldn’t be too hard on it, all that superhero shit looks second rate costume shop and/or Grauman’s Chinese Theatre strip unlicensed characters before it goes through color correction and all that movie magic. I’m looking forward to Doctor Strange actually, add some magic shit in with superheroes. It’s fun! It’ll be fun! And judging by the photos with co-star Chiwetel Ejiofor it’s apparently a musical. Which means Catherine Zeta-Jones will be in it, right? Great. Even more excited now.
I’m assuming the nerds and Cumbersluts of the internet are creaming themselves at the sight of these photos not only because of the cosplay level of the outfits but because Chiwetel’s character is Baron Mordo, a villain, and it looks like he and Doctor Weird Science are teaming up. Yeah. Teaming up for a musical number! How many times do I have to say it! The jumps are very Cats! So clearly someone is doing a great job. In any case, a musical about cosplay warlock will surely be better than Batman v Superman.

How Real Ladies Solve A Problem
While we here at DListed do mostly focus on the world of celebrity, we like to bring you stories about real people who are just as elegant and classy as famous types. Messy brawls like this and this. Real touching human stuff. Just look at these ladies we have before us today. They may not be up on the silver screen or selling out arena shows, but they are just as admirable in the way they conduct themselves as, say, Rihanna or Mariah Carey’s new manager.
