The Beckhams and Peltzes Reportedly Met Over Easter To Make Peace

In case you missed (or purposely dodged) all of the pics on your timeline of families in their Target best captioned “He has risen!” yesterday, it was Easter. But it was also the one-year anniversary of Nicola and Brooklyn Peltz Beckham tying the knot in a lavish wedding, which triggered a frivolous lawsuit! To mark this momentous occasion (the anniversary, not the rising from the dead thing), Nicola’s billionaire parents, Nelson and Claudia Peltz, reportedly hosted Brooklyn and Nicola along with David and Victoria Beckham at their Palm Beach compound so everyone could get together and put a cork in their bolognese family feud.

According to The Mirror, The Peltz family, ever the peacemakers, hosted everyone at their palatial $76 million Palm Beach estate this weekend in a bid to squash the feud that allegedly started when Nicola opted not to wear a Victoria Beckham label wedding dress; and then was probably exacerbated by Nicola discussing it in a magazine. And in another gesture that shows everything’s totally fine now, the elder Beckhams and elder Peltzes even got on a yacht together, which is significant because of the families’ past history of yacht holiday beef.

An insider said: “The couple have spent the last few days in Tokyo but wanted to gather both families in Palm Beach for a low-key Easter Sunday dinner to commemorate their first year as a married couple.”

However, in a touching gesture, David and Victoria have now been spotted enjoying the Easter sunshine on a £5m yacht alongside Nicola’s billionaire businessman dad Nelson Peltz and his wife Claudia.

The push for peace is possibly because the young couple may soon be ready to create a captive clientele for Chef Beckham’s raw Sunday roast and to probably give Nicola the opportunity to subtly remind Victoria that she’s old news now.

The reconciliation between the families could also be because Brooklyn and wife Nicola are reportedly keen to settle down and have children.

The couple are reportedly keen to launch Victoria Beckham into her new era of “Granny Spice”.

Everyone involved posted about the occasion in their own way. Brooklyn posted a blurry anniversary tribute to Nicola (because the 70+ Nicola tattoos obviously weren’t enough):

Nicola and Victoria made sure to post about the “low-key” family get-together. The taped-on Polaroid cake is obviously a Chef BrookBecks joint:

David opted to post a video of a young Brooklyn closet-eating a giant chocolate bunny along with some snaps of the rest of his kids. He gave a loving shout-out to his entire family but didn’t include anything about his daughter-in-law. Whoops, someone didn’t read the BeckPeltz PR group chat:

Did the entire family don matching Victoria Beckham tracksuits as a peace offering? What disappointing dish by Chef Brooklyn did everyone have to feign enjoyment of? What poor schmuck on the yacht crew is getting sued just for mega-wealthy spectator sports funsies? I need more details; because someone had to have made some concessions here!
