David Beckham Reportedly Chewed Out Brooklyn Beckham After Nicola Peltz Discussed Their Family Drama In A Magazine

If you’ve recently been experiencing headaches, vertigo, and persistent tinnitus, it may be because the high-pitched, squeaky wails of David Beckham bounced off the Tower of London, traveled the halls of Buckingham Palace, and then made their way across the English Channel and Atlantic floating directly into your earholes. Reportedly, Daddy Beckham had finally had enough of the drama that’s been plaguing their family ever since his son, Brooklyn Beckham, married Nicola Peltz. Apparently, Nicola’s recent magazine interview where she aired out some of the rumored drama between her and mother-in-law, Victoria Beckham, was the straw that broke the wee church mouse’s vocal cords, and David finally reamed out Brooklyn hoping to put a stop to the feud.
As we know, relations between the new Beckhams and the old Beckhams have been strained ever since Brooklyn and Nicola wed back in April. And while I would have guessed that “no seriously, I’m a real chef” Brooklyn begging his mom to sample a piece of his homemade undercooked pizza when he KNOWS that she only eats fish and toast was what finally broke the family bond; The Daily Mail says that Nicola’s interview with Grazia US where she placed blame on Victoria’s atelier for her not wearing any Victoria Beckham designs despite sporting three different lewks at the BeckPeltz wedding was what really frosted David’s 2002 tips.
It was provoked by Miss Peltz’s recent interview with Grazia magazine, in which she replayed tensions over the making of her wedding dress and appeared to accuse her mother-in-law of ‘blanking’ her and backing out of an agreement to make the gown. Miss Peltz claimed that she, stylist Leslie Fremar and mother Claudia had been excited to have a dress designed by Mrs Beckham. She said: ‘We connected to start designing the dress, and then a few days went by and I didn’t hear anything. Victoria called my mom and said her atelier couldn’t make it.’
I’m told that Beckham ‘read the riot act’ to Brooklyn last week, telling him: ‘We don’t do that in this family.’
A source says: ‘I don’t think David has ever lost his temper with Brooklyn or had cause to talk to him harshly, but that has now finally happened.
‘He had it out with him and told him: ‘We don’t do this in our family – and you know that we don’t do this in our family.’
Beckham added to Brooklyn: ‘What happens next is up to you, but we are done with the drama.
David was hurt by the public airing of private matters and didn’t like its impact on his and Victoria’s other kids. And if you ask me, his little voice has gotten too big for his britches because he even compared the feud to the ongoing royal family tiff.
The source said: ‘David was really appalled by the Grazia interview because it seemed to be washing the family dirty linen in public – and he said that [Brooklyn’s brothers] Romeo and Cruz are also hurt by it. It was probably a shock as he’s never done anything other than tell Brooklyn how much he adores him.’
Friends say the Beckhams have privately compared their family situation to the schism in the Royal Family between Princes William and Harry, with some blame attached to the American wives Miss Peltz and Meghan [Markle].
David probably had to catch Brooklyn sitting still at another Nicola-centric tattoo sesh to spit some shrill, white-hot fire, since Brooklyn has seemingly switched to Team Peltz, even allowing the billionaires to join him and Nicola on their honeymoon.
‘What is being said is that Brooklyn has forgotten that he is a Beckham.’
After the wedding, the large Peltz family joined Miss Peltz and Brooklyn for a honeymoon on board a yacht. The young couple didn’t spend time with the Beckham family and seem to have not seen them at all, barring a lunch in Italy in July. Miss Peltz’s brothers Bradley and Diesel are joining her and Brooklyn in Paris this week.
But no need to fret, just as Harry and Wills met up to greet THE QUEEN’S mourning public, Brooklyn and Nicola plan a public display of unity to repair House Beckham.
Today Brooklyn, 23, and Nicola, 27, will watch former Spice Girl Mrs Beckham’s show at Paris fashion week.
The gathering will be a show of family unity which, it is hoped, will draw a line under an awkward rift which opened up in April and has yet to be healed.
So Nicola better quietly walk in, no smile detected, wearing a Victoria Beckham design and with a peace offering of a thick slice of dry toasted sourdough and one of her own deciduous teeth for the Beckham tooth bucket. This could make or break the (illusory) Beckham Dynasty.
