Jennifer Lopez And Ben Affleck’s Georgia Wedding Celebration Finally Happened
The US’s version of a royal couple Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck descended on Georgia to bless the southern US with their true love by having a wedding. Yes, Jen is already technically Jennifer Lynn Affleck since they tied the knot in Las Vegas and, yes, they’ve already had a fancy camera-filled European honeymoon, but it’s not really a marriage until you throw an extravagant 3-day wedding for the Hollywood elite in a faux plantation! So those of you who got hitched in a courthouse or held a small ceremony with 50 of your friends and family, you’re not truly married.
Despite the setbacks such as breaking up in 2004 and a last-minute trip to the hospital for Ben Affleck’s mom, the big “I do” day for Bennifer 1.0 happened yesterday in front of guests including Matt Damon, Kevin Smith, and Jason Mewes. Here’s Jay and Silent Bob’s all-white Bennifer wedding looks:

But Ben’s brother Casey Affleck wasn’t there because “of family, parental obligations at home.” JLo spared no expense when preparing for HER their big moment. I mean Vogue doesn’t document just ANYONE’S nuptials! The theme of the night (in addition to “I’M JLO. LOOK AT ME!”) was white on white on white. via People:
Lopez wore a white Ralph Lauren gown with a long, flowing train and veil at Saturday’s ceremony, with Affleck in a tuxedo with a white jacket and black pants. Photographs showed them walking down a white aisle followed by their children. Popular podcaster and life coach Jay Shetty officiated the ceremony.
Nothing says 2022 more than having your nuptials officiated by a podcaster. And if you’re surprised that JLo didn’t pull a stunt (as if a 3-day wedding after your other wedding wasn’t enough), TMZ reported that the train was 20 feet long. You gotta make that walk down the aisle last at least 30 minutes!
Guests were photographed wearing all white on the grounds of Affleck’s 87-acre compound outside Savannah. Preparations for the big celebration included a marquee on the estate with white chairs set up for guests surrounded by greenery and white flowers, an all-white piano, elegant tables set up on a riverfront dock and a platform for a fireworks display.
A source told PEOPLE Friday that Affleck, 50, and Lopez, 53, had “an extraordinary weekend of celebrations planned,” including “a pre-wedding party, a ceremony and … lots of fun lined up.”

No word on whether or not the reception was catered by Dunkin’ Donuts, so we can only hope Ben successfully negotiated for that concession. Now that the big wedding is over, will Jennifer and Ben go on another honeymoon? Is that the protocol? Every time you declare your love before God and the paparazzi, you get to go on a trip to Turks and Caicos? I suppose it IS pretty exhausting to have an ego so big that you must host multiple highly publicized events to satisfy it. Crossing fingers that this will be the last stop on the “Marry Me featuring Bennifer 1.0″ tour. Ben is already tired enough as it is!
