Angelina Jolie Claimed That Three Of Her Kids Wanted To Testify Against Brad Pitt In The Custody Trial

After Brad Pitt was awarded a tentative agreement to receive a joint custody split of the five of the six Jolie-Pitt children, Angelina Jolie’s legal team swore that it was far from over. Angelina’s biggest argument for an appeal was that Judge John Ouderkirk didn’t get to hear testimony from some of the children, which Angelina believed gave Brad an unfair advantage, as Angelina was trying to prove allegations of abuse. Angelina also wanted Judge Ouderkirk thrown off their case, due to the belief that he was too close to Brad and his legal team (she was unsuccessful). Judge Ouderkirk was the one who prevented any of the Jolie-Pitt children from being called to testify against brad. But Us Weekly recently found a document filed by Angelina in December, and in it, she claims that three of her kids allegedly wanted to testify against him.

Maddox Jolie-Pitt reportedly testified against Brad, but his custody wasn’t up for debate as he’s legally an adult now. Judge Ouderkirk refused to let any other members of the Jolie-Pitt Six testify, and Angelina’s lawyers spit on that decision by accusing Judge Ouderkirk of denying her a fair trial. Back when Angelina was trying to get a new judge appointed to the case, she tried to argue that Judge Ouderkirk was full of BS when he was preventing the kids from testifying and that the only person he was protecting was Brad Pitt. via UsWeekly:

“The children whose custody is at issue are old enough to understand what is going on,” the document obtained by UsWeekly reads. “The trial is necessarily going to impact them emotionally. Three of the children have asked to testify. To make any of the children endure what may be a futile and void proceeding is beyond unjustified. It is cruel.”

The actress’ lawyers argued that the children shouldn’t have even been put in the position to want to testify because the judge should have been disqualified.

A hearing is set for July 9th, in which Angelina’s legal team will try to argue that Judge Ouderkirk made a prejudicial legal error in Brad’s favor. But a source tells Page Six mentions that it’s not like the Jolie-Pitt children were cosplaying A Quiet Place while all this was going on between their parents.

“The lengthy, detailed decision relied upon expert testimony from people who the kids spoke to during the process, so their voices actually were considered,” the source said.

So while the kids didn’t testify, they did speak to professionals during the custody process. This means that maybe Judge Ouderkirk’s decision was actually made with the kids’ best interests in mind, based on the information he was given. So where does this leave Angelina? Legally, I’m not sure. But physically, she’s at Jonny Lee Miller’s apartment.

A few days ago, Angelina was spotted with a bottle of wine at her ex-husband’s house in New York City, gossip that was VERY gossipy, until it was revealed that she was joined by her sons Pax and Knox Jolie-Pitt, who are good friends with Jonny’s son Buster. But Angelina’s visits at Jonny’s place might not be as platonic as they appear. According to a source who spoke with The Sun, they’re “reconnecting” during what was intended to be an educational trip to NYC for Angelina’s kids:

“Angelia wanted to give her kids an educational trip to the big city, and she wanted to spend some time reconnecting with Jonny, too” they said.

“She went back the next afternoon with Pax, who was curious to meet this guy she’s always spoken so fondly about. They only hung out for a short while at Jonny’s apartment, but they seemed to get along well. Angie is very happy because Pax keeps making noise about moving to New York someday soon, maybe even for school. She’s glad he’ll have someone she trusts around for him to go to for advice or just to see a friendly face.”

The source stresses that Angelina didn’t blow all her time in the Big Apple sipping wine with her ex-husband while their sons played Fortnite, or whatever kids these days do. Angelina also took Zahara, Shiloh, and Vivienne Jolie-Pitt to art galleries and boutiques. Angelina might not be pulling a Bennifer redux with her ex-husband. Reconnecting can mean anything! Reconnecting your lips, or just connecting over a shared interest. Like hacking. Angelina and Jonny starred in the 1995 film Hackers, and I assume they both learned a little something on set. Maybe Angelina was just meeting with Jonny to see if he knew how to hack into a certain judge’s Netflix account and replace all the films in their My List with movies starring Brad Pitt, for no reason other than to make it look like they’re a really huge, extremely biased fan of Brad Pitt. Angie would be asking for a friend, of course!
