April 13, 2022 / Posted by:

The seventh season of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars will debut May 20 on Paramount+, and, for the first time in the show’s herstory, it will be an all-winners season! Eight former Drag Race champions will duke it out for a prize of $200,000 (the most ever), the title of “Queen of All Queens,” and probably a “sickening supply” of makeup from Anastasia Beverly Hills. And when RuPaul says “sickening” he means it literally; those cheap-ass cosmetics will give the winner a full-face rash!

Every time a Grindr notification pings, a new RuPaul’s Drag Race spinoff gets produced. The latest is Drag Race UK Versus The World, which stars former Drag Race contestants from across the globe. The series premiered Tuesday and featured a talent show, a wholly unjust first elimination, and Melanie Chisholm making an appearance as a guest judge. But Ru’s a professional, she always saves the best ones for herself anyway.

During Adele‘s One Night Only CBS two-hour special, Oprah Winfrey brought her signature lip-syncing to the program. Apart from interviewing Adele and getting the nitty-gritty out of her, Oprah also enjoyed a performance at the Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles. Over nine million people watched the special and all of them were treated to not just good music and a deep interview, but also Oprah moving her lips around to a song that she thinks she knows but doesn’t. Someone needs to ask The Mighty O, “Were you lip-syncing? Or were you lip-sunk?”

Jeffrey Bowyer-Chapman Talks About The Hate He Received While Hosting “Canada’s Drag Race”

September 17, 2021 / Posted by:

The RuPaul’s Drag Race spin-off, Canada’s Drag Race, is going into its second season. And when the second season was announced, we learned that season 1 judge, Jeffrey Bowyer-Chapman would not be back. The official reason given was that Jeffrey was too busy filming the Disney+ Doogie Howser, M.D. reboot, Doogie Kameāloha, M.D., and added he’d be very missed. But it sounds like even if his schedule was free, he’d pass on doing a second season. While promoting the Doogie reboot, Jeffrey talked to The Hollywood Reporter and said that he was absolutely shocked about the amount of hate he got from Drag Race fans. And I mean hate hate – Jeffrey says a lot of it was dripping in racism.
