“RuPaul’s Drag Race” Announces The Queens Of Season 14

December 3, 2021 / Posted by:

There are three things in life that are unavoidable: death, taxes, and a new season of RuPaul’s Drag Race. RuPaul is able to find queens on queens on queens and there’s a whole new crew of 14 of ’em for the fourteenth season of the show. If you think there isn’t a wealth of men ready to tuck their balls into their assholes and prance to a pop song? You don’t know about reality! The trailer is here and it brought all of the campy one-liners the writers wrote for Michelle Visage last season that she probably rejected. But Ru’s a professional, she always saves the best ones for herself anyway.

The trailer for the new season of RPDR, which debuts on January 7th, has a Willy Wonka-esque theme because there’s a Ru-brand chocolate bar with a golden ticket. Saying that “Victory never tasted so sweet,” Ru’s new set of girls walk a confectionary board game while being witty and sarcastic and dressed in all manner of hoe outfits, artistic body paint, sequins, and glitter. Except, wait–there’s a straight man (Maddy Morphosis) on Drag Race. I know! We’ve been infiltrated! It took Ru how long to get a trans person on the show, but now the straights are just waltzing in? Okay… Here’s the trailer:

A live stream was hosted this morning by the previous season’s winner, Symone, and because Drag Race isn’t enough with just one hour and a half episode a week, Untucked–the behind-the-scenes true tea drama–will air after at 9:30 pm. Here’s a list of the queens from Deadline:

Willow Pill (Denver,CO)|Instagram/Tiktok/Twitter: @willowpillqueen

A quirky little pill, this queen digs deep to deliver a wicked sense of humor and a darkly eccentric drag style. She is season 11 winner Yvie Oddly’s drag sister, so expect the unexpected from Willow Pill.

With a straight man in the cast, it’ll be interesting to see how things go in The Werk Room and what words he uses while kiki-ing with the other queens. Hopefully, someone told him not to go around slurring the other queens by calling them a twink!
