Adele might have broken the Las Vegas record for shortest pop star residency ever, with about a month between tickets completely selling out and Adele postponing Weekends with Adele, her 12-weekend residency at Caesars Palace. Adele claimed that half her crew and staff were out with COVID, and that even with working overtime, they just couldn’t put together a decent show. Glass-half-full types might have figured that it was only a matter of time before Adele announced when all those postponed shows were going to happen. They might be waiting a while, because Adele’s focus right now is on her music, and I don’t mean the music she was planning on belting out in Las Vegas.

In her tearful apology video announcing the cancelation the night before the shows were set to begin at Caesars Palace, Adele says that the show was canceled for COVID-19 delays and that the show was not ready. But then rumors came out that she was fighting with Caesars Palac over the show and was also beefing with her set designer. But now The New York Daily News is saying that Adele quit her show over a man! Sources claim that Adele is having relationship drama with her sports agent boyfriend of about six months, Rich Paul. So she canceled her residency? Why not just slash his tires!?
