Because two months after Sarah Paulson’s Glamour Shots twin, Adele, was spotted at an NBA playoffs game with LeBron James’ agent, Rich Paul, she went “Instagram Official” with him (honestly, a step more serious than marriage) by posting a picture they took together at a wedding. Adele has truly shown us that she’ll do anything for love. First, she went to a sports ball game with her new man, and now she’s suffering through weddings for him. This is what Meat Loaf was really singing about.
In July, 33-year-old Adele and 39-year-old Rich Paul went public with their love at an NBA playoffs game in Phoenix. Back then, they had been a casual thing for a couple of months. Adele’s divorce from Simon Konecki, the father of her almost 9-year-old son Angelo, was finalized in March. And last month, Adele was Rich Paul’s plus one to the birthday party of LeBron James’ wife, Savannah James. A riveting clip of Adele flipping her hair to WAP at Savannah’s birthday party made the rounds. And yes, it was a clip of Adele just flipping her hair and not flipping her WAP onto Rich Paul. At the time, a source told People that things between them were getting serious:
“They went to LeBron James’ party together. He often brings her around his friends. She seems to be getting along with everyone. They act like they are getting more serious. She is having fun dating Rich. They spend a lot of time together. Adele seems very happy.”
And it looks like things got ALL THE WAY serious because they went IG official. Last night, Adele and Rich Paul went to the wedding of Anthony Davis (from the Los Angeles Lakers) and Marlen P in Los Angeles. Adele continued to show us that she’s a hardcore BeyHive member by wearing a version of one of Beyonce’s old ones, which kind of looks like if Brenda Walsh and Kelly Taylor’s Spring Dance dress got messed up in the wash. A bronzer-covered (well, from the shoulders up) Adele brought the elegance with a pair of Schiaparelli-made whipped cream chichis and earlobe-destroying gold toof earrings:
Many of the comments in Adele’s post are from fans wondering where her album is. Adele’s last album 25, came out in 2015, and there’s a rumor that her next one is coming out before Christmas. But it seems like Adele is currently in a state of love, so how in the hell is she going to put together an album right now?! And a fourth album may never even happen. Because she needs to go through a messy breakup before she can deliver the Grammy-sweeping and tears-inducing sad hits. Respect the process.
