Sources Say That Adele Canceled Her Las Vegas Residency Over Problems With Her Boyfriend Rich Paul

The theories on why Adele postponed her Las Vegas residency, Weekends With Adele, are continuing to come out. In her tearful apology video announcing the cancelation the night before the shows were set to begin at Caesars Palace, Adele says that the show was canceled for COVID-19 delays and that the show was not ready. But then rumors came out that she was fighting with Caesars Palac over the show and was also beefing with her set designer. But now The New York Daily News is saying that Adele quit her show over a man! Sources claim that Adele is having relationship drama with her sports agent boyfriend of about six months, Rich Paul. So she canceled her residency? Why not just slash his tires!?
Sources tell the NYDN that right after Adele pressed the pause button on her huge residency, she went back home to Los Angeles to be with Rich Paul, and sources say she’s frazzled over her problems with him and it’s messing with her show.
As soon as she bowed out of her residency, Adele flew to Los Angeles to be with Paul, of Klutch Sports Group, who manages NBA star LeBron James among other athletes, the source said.
“There’s trouble in paradise,” said my source. “That’s why she can’t perform.”
The Blast adds that there were some “intense moments” during her rehearsals and she was apparently “shouting and sobbing” while on the phone with Rich. An insider from the Caesars Palace team, told Page Six much the same:
“Adele’s been crying and couldn’t get through a single full rehearsal for the past month,” said a source linked to the management team at Caesars Palace, where the shows were to take place. “Just constantly on the phone with Rich… loudly shouting and sobbing.”
Well if any of this is true, then the good news for Adele is that she can use her relationship woes to make another tears-inducing album that will make approximately fifty-five gazillion dollars and win ten million Grammys. Shit, the album hasn’t even been made yet and I’m sure it’s already won a Grammy.
