Jennifer Hough Drops Her Lawsuit Against Nicki Minaj
Nicki Minaj is one lucky mess. Not only did she avoid a $20 million judgment in the harassment suit against her, but now her name has been dropped from the lawsuit. Last August, Jennifer Hough sued Nicki and Nicki’s husband, Kenneth “Zoo” Petty claiming they were harassing and intimidating her to change her story about Kenneth raping her at knifepoint in 1995. Kenneth eventually pleaded guilty to attempted rape and spent four years in prison. Jennifer did not drop her lawsuit against Kenneth, so he’s still stuck holding the bag. But let’s be honest, if he has to pay it’s going to be with Nicki’s money anyway.
Nicki Minaj Denies She And Her Husband, Kenneth Petty, Are Members Of The Bloods
Last August, Jennifer Hough sued Nicki Minaj and her husband, Kenneth “Zoo” Petty, for allegedly harassing and threatening her into changing her sexual assault claims against him. Jennifer alleged that in 1994, Kenneth raped her at knifepoint when they were both 16 years old. Kenneth pleaded guilty to attempted rape and served four and a half years in prison. He also has to register as a sex offender, which he doesn’t want to do anymore. So Jennifer claims that Nicki and Kenneth want her to take back her story and she won’t do that. That’s where the alleged harassment comes in. All Hip Hop reports that Jennifer is now telling the court that Nicki and Kenneth are members of the Makk Balla Brims, which is allegedly one of the “most dangerous” gangs in New York. It’s also a part of the national Bloods gang. But Nicki denies such allegations! And instead, her story is that Jennifer just wants money.

Last week former Little Mix member Jesy Nelson dropped the music video for her first solo single, “Boyz”, featuring Nicki Minaj. After its release, emergency room doctors reported a 57% rise in people Van Goghing their own ears off. And white Jesy faced accusations of blackfishing and appropriating Black culture. See: her darker skin tone, braided and beaded hairstyles, gold teeth, styling, street wear, “blaccent”, etc. Then some alleged DMs surfaced which showed Little Mix’s Leigh-Anne Pinnock (who is Black) calling Jesy a “black fish” and “a horrible person.” But what does Jesy’s collaborator Nicki Minaj think of all this? Jesy Nelson Of Little Mix Responded To Blackfishing Accusations
OK, so I’ve heard of the British girl group Little Mix, but I didn’t know who Jesy Nelson was until last week. That’s when the former Little Mix-er released the video for her first solo single, “Boyz,” featuring Nicki Minaj. The song samples Diddy’s 2001 hit “Bad Boy for Life”, and the video is basically a gender-swapped recreation of the music video. Diddy Love even makes a cameo (in the Ben Stiller/annoyed neighbor role). And while my first impression of “Boyz” was that it kinda sucked and I couldn’t understand a word Jesy was singing, I did not think it was problematic. Until I was informed that Jesy Nelson is not Black. Yep, the above photos are of a 30-year-old white British lady. Obviously, the people cried, “blackfishing!” And in an interview with Vulture, Jesy responded to the claims. Her defense is basically, “Huh? Wha? But I love Black culture.” Which is a pretty great excuse (if half your brains have been scooped out)!
