A Study Finds That The Anti-Amber Heard Online Campaign Was “One Of The Worst Cases Of Cyberbullying And Cyberstalking”
The Amber Heard/Johnny Depp trial was a disaster on all levels and it ended with the jury mostly siding with Johnny. Amber’s team says they plan to appeal and mentioned several times that the hate against her on social media was on another level, and they accused Johnny of targeting her by orchestrating an online hate campaign. Well, a new study co-signs Team Amber’s claims. A new study from Bot Sentinel–which studies online disinformation campaigns and harassment on social media–found that the anti-Amber Heard online activity was “one of the worst cases of cyberbullying and cyberstalking by a group of Twitter accounts” they’d seen.
Johnny Depp Has Reached A Settlement In The “City Of Lies” Assault Case
I guess Johnny Depp was just too tuckered out from his last messy lawsuit to bring his most current messy lawsuit to trial because Johnny has gone ahead and made his 2018 assault lawsuit go away before it could turn into a questionable jury-filled media circus. It was said that Johnny really wanted to settle the lawsuit that came out of an alleged assault that happened on the set of the direct-to-wherever it ended up feature film, City of Lies. Johnny got his wish, and that lawsuit is settled and done with.
Amber Heard Calls For A Mistrial In The Johnny Depp Defamation Case Over “Improper Jury Service”
After six long weeks of a Virginia courtroom filling with potent fuckery fumes wafting off of the Johnny Depp vs. Amber Heard defamation trial, the jury mostly sided with Johnny and found that Amber did defame him in her Washington Post op-ed piece about being a victim of domestic abuse. Here I was thinking that the trial was a stage 10 landfill fire from beginning to end, but I may have been wrong. It may have been a disaster before the trial even began! Because Amber Heard’s legal team claims that one of the jurors who served on the trial was not the person who was actually called for jury duty and tricked the court. Now Amber’s lawyers want the verdict tossed out.
Netflix Will Stream Johnny Depp’s Next Film, “La Favorite”
Any fans of the incredibly enjoyable Oscar-winning 2018 film The Favourite are likely gasping in shock that not only would someone remake such a good movie so soon, let alone have the questionable judgment to cast Johnny Depp in such a thing. But that’s not what’s happening here. A French movie called La Favorite is currently in production and will begin filming this summer. It just so happens to have Johnny Depp in it, and this will be his first film role since winning his messy defamation lawsuit that wrapped last month. And unlike many of Johnny’s more recent film appearances, this movie will hit theaters, then be available for streaming, courtesy of Netflix.
Amber Heard’s Attorney Has Requested That The Johnny Depp Defamation Trial Verdict Be Thrown Out
All the Jack Sparrow-obsessed #JusticeForJohnnyDepp hash-taggers on social media had reason to celebrate last month when a Virginia court declared that in the case of Johnny Depp vs. Amber Heard, Johnny’s name had been defamed just a bit more than Amber’s had, and awarded Johnny a $10,350,000 victory in damages. It has been said that Amber doesn’t exactly have the cash to cut her ex-husband a check, which is bad news for Johnny’s bank account, which has reportedly been in a bad way for years now. And if Amber’s legal team has their way, all those Johnny fans won’t even have their precious gloating at the end of all this. Because Amber’s attorney filed to have the verdict tossed, and is accusing the trial of failing to produce actual evidence of defamation, and is calling for an investigation into a juror that might not have been properly vetted by the court.
There’s Almost a Zero Percent Chance That Johnny Depp Will Play Jack Sparrow Again
Sorry, I should have been a little more specific. After all, the man has been cosplaying as a greasy drunken pirate in his personal life for the past decade or so. I’m referring to the chance that Johnny Depp might once again clip in those little dangly beard braids and toss on about 15 pounds of silver rings to play Captain Jack Sparrow, pirate of the…whatever seas the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise takes place in. There was a rumor going around that Johnny’s big comeback from his career downturn as professional defamation plaintiff would be in an upcoming Pirates film as that beloved salt water-bound weirdo. But according to other sources, nobody should be holding their breath to see Johnny on the big screen doing his best Keith Richards impersonation.
