The Man Who Allegedly Shot Lady Gaga’s Dog Walker Ryan Fischer Was Accidentally Released From Jail
Even when a horrible dog-napping story feels like it’s all wrapped up with a conclusive ending, it might not be. In February 2021, Lady Gaga’s dog walker Ryan Fischer was shot in the chest by a stranger who then kidnapped two of the three dogs he was out walking at the time, Gaga’s French bulldogs Koji and Gustav. Arrests were made, the dogs were returned safe, and Ryan began his recovery. Dog-napping and attempted murder feels like more than enough reasons for a criminal to spend a long time on an uncomfortable prison bunk. But the man who allegedly shot is already out of jail. The only issue: He’s not actually supposed to be out of jail right now. Whoopsies.
Jena Malone Helped Perform A Citizen’s Arrest On A Man Who Was Abusing A Dog
Jena Malone, star of my childhood (Stepmom, Donnie Darko, and Saved!) and the Hunger Games movies, found herself involved in some real-life drama on Monday. Jena was driving in Los Angeles when she saw a man abusing a small dog. She later tweeted that he was kicking the poor pup and “yanking him up in the air and absolutely choking” him. Jena yelled at the guy to stop, but he wouldn’t. So she jumped out of her car and began chasing his ass!

Meet Sausalito, a border collie Australian shepherd mix and patron saint of dramatic stubbornness! When the puppy’s human Alison Fitzgerald Kodjak tried to take him home after a trip to the dog park, Sausalito said, “No, ma’am!” and protested against the injustice of it all!

Last week Chesapeake, Virginia resident Tykesha Cherry took her 10-month-old Maltese poodle, Lucky (above left), to the pet groomer for a snazzy new haircut. But when she picked her puppy up later that day, she noticed something was off. Lucky wasn’t responding to his name, his fur looked different, and his paws were “crusty.” Tykesha called her boyfriend “to make sure I wasn’t tripping” before she returned to the groomer. Her hunch proved correct: the salon gave her the wrong dog. This wasn’t Lucky! This was Bentley! Tykesha was not happy about the mixup, and, judging by his death stare in the above pic, Bentley wasn’t too thrilled either. “Lady, who the FUCK are you?”
