U.S. Marshals Are Offering A Reward For The Man Accused Of Shooting Lady Gaga’s Dog Walker After He Was Accidentally Released From Jail

Remember how the suspect who allegedly shot Lady Gaga‘s dog walker and kidnapped her dogs was released from prison by accident? Well, they still can’t find him. He’s pulling such a good impression of Where In The World Is Carmen Sandiego? that the police have now offered a $5,000 reward for anyone who can help them re-catch his ass. I think this is a job for the once-kidnapped dogs themselves! Get Koji and Gustav on the street and have them sniff out their alleged captor!

Back in February last year, Ryan Fischer was shot while trying to protect Lady Gaga’s dogs from some assailants. While two of Gaga’s dogs, Koji and Gustav, got dognapped, a third dog, Miss Asia, successfully escaped and stayed with Ryan until paramedics arrived. A reward was offered for the return of the dogs, and wouldn’t you know someone returned them! The woman who returned the dogs was allegedly one of five people involved in the violent dognapping scheme, and that led to arrests.

James Howard Jackson and two other men were charged with the shooting and put in jail. James is charged with: attempted murder, conspiracy to commit robbery, second-degree robbery, assault with a semiautomatic firearm, and a felony carrying a concealed firearm in a vehicle. Of the three men arrested, James is the one accused of holding the gun that shot Ryan. But then there was some clerical error and James got let out back in April.

People says that U.S. Marshals have offered a $5,000 reward for any info leading to the arrest of James. But don’t try to cosplay as Dog the Bounty Hunter because according to U.S. Marshals, James “should be considered armed and dangerous.”

When James was accidentally released, Ryan shared a statement, asking James to turn himself in. Clearly, James didn’t take Ryan’s words to heart because he’s still on the run.

“While I’m deeply concerned at the events that led to his release, I’m confident law enforcement will rectify the error…

I ask for Mr. Jackson to turn himself over to the authorities, so resolution to the crime committed against me runs its course, whatever the courts determine that outcome to be. Thank you to everyone who is supporting me during this time.”

James will probably be caught now that a $5,000 reward is on the table. A friend is going to turn on him. Or James himself may try to get that reward! I bet he’ll get a friend to send a new picture of him to the cops and that picture will accidentally include the motel room number he’s hiding out in.
