Nick Cannon Is Still Apologizing, While FOX Is Standing Behind Him

July 16, 2020 / Posted by:

That dapper frog has such a worried look on its face, but don’t worry frog! Nick Cannon isn’t going anywhere. At least not anywhere as far as FOX is concerned. ViacomCBS is another story, as we already know. But Nick Cannon’s job hosting the televised fever-dream The Masked Singer is safe, regardless of how ViacomCBS responded to Nick’s anti-Semitic podcast comments.

ViacomCBS Has Fired Nick Cannon For Making Anti-Semitic Statements

July 15, 2020 / Posted by:

Three years ago, Nick Cannon quit his job hosting America’s Got Talent, because he felt like NBCUniversal was censoring him. At that time, Nick released a stand-up special in which he joked that he couldn’t say what he really wanted to say, because – according to Nick – NBC didn’t want him to be too Black. Gabrielle Union is thinking, “Where is the joke though.” NBC reportedly wanted Nick to apologize for the joke, which he refused to do, and so he quit.

Nick has continued to speak without a filter, like when he said some collar-tugging shit about white people and the Jewish community during a recent episode of his podcast, Cannon’s Class. If Nick was expecting that his most recent employer, ViacomCBS, would negotiate like NBCUniversal did, well – he predicted wrong. Because ViacomCBS terminated Nick’s employment.

Gayle King Is Pissed At Her Own Network Over An Interview Clip About Kobe Bryant’s Rape Case

February 6, 2020 / Posted by:

“Gayle, listen, I need you to take the heat off of Mama O by asking Lisa Leslie on CBS This Morning about the Kobe Bryant rape case. I’ll get you that high floor condo in… the…. CAAAAAY-MAAAAANS. Mama O, out!” is the voicemail that Oprah may or may not have left Gayle King before Gayle’s interview with WNBA star and friend of Kobe Bryant, Lisa Leslie. Because some are dragging Gayle King for doing her job as a journalist by asking questions, specifically a question about Kobe Bryant’s rape case. CBS tweeted a clip of that moment to promote the interview, and Gayle is trying to stop the dragging of her by dragging CBS for pulling some sensationalism shit.

CBS Announced Some Changes To “Survivor” In The Wake Of Dan Spilo’s Removal From The Game

December 18, 2019 / Posted by:

The finale of Survivor airs tonight and it’s going to look a lot different from past seasons. In light of the unprecedented removal of a player, Hollywood agent Dan Spilo, from the game for inappropriate touching, CBS has made some changes to both how the finale will play out and with their procedures moving forward. E! News reports that those changes could affect other CBS reality shows like Big Brother and Love Island, which would probably leave those shows with a 30 second running time solely comprised of a lengthy disclaimer and the opening credits.

Hollywood Agent Dan Spilo Was Kicked Off Of “Survivor” For Inappropriate Touching

December 12, 2019 / Posted by:

Some serious fuckery is afoot over at CBS. On last night’s episode of Survivor, it was revealed that a contestant was removed from the game for inappropriately touching one of the producers off camera. That sounds like the good and right thing to do, but the problem is, the same contestant had already been accused of inappropriate touching by another contestant weeks earlier. His accuser Kellee Kim, was voted out the very same week she spoke up, and the creep in question, Hollywood agent Dan Spilo, was allowed to stay. Despite multiple incidents being caught on tape of Dan touching Kellee and walking around looking like the twin Harvey Weinstein ate in utero. To make matters worse, two other female contestants, Missy Byrd and Elizabeth Beisel, also said that Dan had been inappropriate with them, but later admitted they had “exaggerated their reactions” in order to get Dan voted out. But then changed their minds and blindsided Kellee instead (via People). Mess. Now, CBS is catching heat for the spectacularly bad job they did at handling the situation.
