“The Wendy Williams Show” Is Officially Ending, And Sherri Shepherd Is Taking Over
Last we heard from Wendy Williams, she was strolling on a Florida beach promising to return to her talk show The Wendy Williams Show after taking a long break due to all sorts of issues. There have been reports that Wendy is suffering from dementia and she’s been fighting Wells Fargo over control of her bank accounts (Wells Fargo froze her accounts over concern that she’s being exploited). And during all of this mess, Sherri Shepherd was named the permanent guest host of The Wendy Williams Show. Welp, the triumphant return to TV that Wendy promised will have to wait because it was announced today that her show is ending after 13 seasons and Sherri will take over her old spot in the fall.
Wendy Williams Says She’ll Return To “The Wendy Williams Show” Stronger Than Ever
Wendy Williams has been absent from The Wendy Williams Show for so long, that the people in charge recently decided to transition the show from having a rotating panel of temporary guest hosts to a full-time permanent guest host. That honor goes to Sherri Shepherd. It seems like Wendy may never return to her show on account of Sherri’s promotion, and the reports that Wendy continues to be going through it, mentally, physically, and financially. But Wendy recently gave everyone an update on (Wendy voice) how she doin’, and she says she’s doing well enough that she’s already planning her triumphant return to The Wendy Williams Show.
Wendy Williams Denies She Is Suffering From Mental Health Issues After Wells Fargo Bank Froze Her Accounts
You just know Wendy Williams would be having an absolute field day with the quality and quantity of MESS that’s been on display in the celebrity gossip market. But Wendy’s got bigger things on her mind right now. According to Page Six, Wendy is currently fighting with Wells Fargo Bank over their decision to freeze her accounts and petition the courts to “appoint a temporary guardian or evaluator” as they believe she is an “incapacitated person” and the “victim of undue influence and financial exploitation.” However, in a statement from her attorney, Wendy unequivocally denies she’s in a bad way mentally or that she’s being exploited, and she has filed a restraining order against WF in an effort to get them to stop fucking with her money. So Wendy’s got plenty of MESS of her own on her hands.
Sherri Shepherd Will Be The Permanent Guest Host On “The Wendy Williams Show”
Wendy Williams has been dealing with serious health issues which have prevented her from hosting The Wendy Williams Show since last summer. In the meantime, producers took a page out of Jeopardy!’s book and hired a revolving door of guest hosts to step in to fill Wendy’s Size 11s. Now TMZ is reporting that Sherri Shepherd, my absolute favorite flat-earther, will become a “permanent guest host” beginning in September and may take over the show completely.
Wendy Williams Tells The Paps That She’s Doing “Fabulous” While Leaving A Wellness Center
57-year-old Wendy Williams, the world’s gassiest and most empathetically-bankrupt television personality, has been MIA from The Wendy Williams Show since it came back for the thirteenth season premiere. Wendy had to deal with a breakthrough COVID-19 case and has been seeking treatment for her Graves disease. There was a rumor out last week that Wendy had hit an even rougher spot and was suffering from dementia symptoms and could no longer walk. But her brother denied it, and now we have proof! Looks like Sharon Osbourne‘s voodoo doll of Wendy did not work as well as she’d hoped. While Wendy has clearly not fully recovered, a paparazzo caught her as she came out of a wellness center and she was both walking and talking, and as she puts it, she’s “doing fabulous.”
Wendy Williams’ Brother Denies The Claim That She’s Suffering From Dementia
57-year-old Wendy Williams has been going through it for a while now. She’s been away from her talk show The Wendy Williams Show for months now and has been replaced by guest-host after guest-host. Wendy has long had issues with her Graves’ disease and recently had some pretty bad health issues. Recently, Rickey Smiley of The Rickey Smiley Morning Show started the rumor that Wendy has early stages of dementia. But Wendy’s brother, Tommy Williams Jr. has spoken out and said that’s not so.
