Sherri Shepherd Will Be The Permanent Guest Host On “The Wendy Williams Show”
Wendy Williams has been dealing with serious health issues which have prevented her from hosting The Wendy Williams Show since last summer. In the meantime, producers took a page out of Jeopardy!’s book and hired a revolving door of guest hosts to step in to fill Wendy’s Size 11s. Now TMZ is reporting that Sherri Shepherd, my absolute favorite flat-earther, will become a “permanent guest host” beginning in September and may take over the show completely.
54-year-old Sherri’s been on-and-off guest-hosting since November. Others hosts have included Michael Rapaport, Remy Ma, Fat Joe, Kym Whitley, Finesse Mitchell, Bill Bellamy, Whitney Cummings, and Jerry Springer. Sources tell TMZ that Sherri’s deal is “almost locked.” They say that producers will monitor 57-year-old Wendy’s health progress, and if she gets better, there will be an open door for her to return. If she doesn’t, then Sherri will host and the name of the show could change as early as September. That’ll mark the start of the fifteenth season.
I think Sherri’s a perfect replacement for Wendy. Both women have messy ex–husband drama, alliterative names, and big boobies. They also say really stupid shit. But I would argue that Sherri’s stupid shit comes from a place of “dumb,” whereas Wendy’s comes from a place of “dumb AND evil.” Also, Sherri gets extra points for being THEE Queen of Jordan:
It’s her way ’til pay day (sometime in September)!
