Wendy Williams Has Been Given A Financial Guardian, And She’s Not Thrilled About That
There have been many mixed reports regarding the current state of Wendy Williams’ life, from all aspects, like her career, her health, and what’s going on with her bank account situation. That last one has been a real head-scratcher, considering no one really knows if Wendy’s all good when she approaches the ATM, or if every purchase she attempts to make returns a cancelled transaction warning that says something like, “No way ma’am, and you know why.” We have an update on Wendy’s financials. According to her attorney, Wendy has been put under “financial guardianship,” which pretty much sounds like two formal words that mean Wendy can’t freely spend her own cash. And according to that attorney, Wendy is not feeling the constant financial supervision.

It still amazes me sometimes when I think of how Wendy Williams went from being the person doing the talking to becoming the person being talked about. Wendy reportedly didn’t take that news well and has allegedly considered bringing her lawyers into it. But Wendy made an appearance at a Met Gala after-party on Monday, and she gave everyone a little update. And things sound like they’re coming up Wendy once again.

Wendy Williams is having a rough time. I’m not even talking about how Sherri Shepherd replaced her and will be taking over The Wendy Williams Show timeslot with her new series, Sherri, this fall. I’m not even talking about the health issues that took her away from her show. I’m talking about how Wendy is continuing to battle it out with Wells Fargo over the bank locking her out of her accounts because they believe she “is the victim of undue influence and financial exploitation” and are trying to protect her money for her. And just like that, The Tinder Swindler crossed Wendy’s name off of a list of potential marks since she doesn’t have access to her money and may not for a bit.
Nick Cannon’s Talk Show Has Been Canceled After Six Months
RIP Nick Cannon. Not the man, but the talk show that goes by the same name. Nick Cannon is still very much alive and probably getting a woman pregnant right at this very moment. Sources tell Page Six that the show has been axed over shit ratings. It lasted six months. Damn. Busy Phillipps’ show lasted longer than that.
Wendy Williams Is Reportedly Considering Legal Action Over Losing Her Talk Show
Since 2019, Wendy Williams was in and out of her daytime talk show The Wendy Williams Show to deal with all sorts of issues including her Graves disease. The majority of her show’s past season was hosted by rotating guest-hosts including Sherri Shepherd. And last month, it was announced that Wendy’s show is coming to an end and Sherri Shepherd will host her own show, Sherri, starting this fall. Well, Wendy is reportedly pissed. RadarOnline has sources who say that Wendy is ready for court. She’s allegedly planning to take her bosses at Debmar-Mercury and Sherri Shepherd to court.
