Elon Musk Has Been Making Memes About Twitter’s Lawsuit Threats

July 11, 2022 / Posted by:

Last week, Elon Musk decided that he didn’t actually want to buy Twitter for $44 billion and released a statement informing everyone that Twitter had misled him, and therefore he was backing out of the deal. That’s not good, considering Elon and Twitter signed a contract with Elon agreeing his intention to follow through with the purchase, and Twitter let it be known several times that they’d happily summon their team of lawyers on Elon, should he metaphorically skip town. So no one should be surprised that Twitter is lawyering up. But according to Elon’s recent Twitter activity, he’s not bothered in the least. In fact, he’s casually making ha-ha-has and tee-hee-hees about the whole mess.

It’s Looking Like Elon Musk’s Twitter Deal Might Not Go Through (UPDATE)

July 8, 2022 / Posted by:

UPDATE: Yup, as expected, Stunt Queen Elon has let Twitter know in a letter from his lawyer that he’s terminating the deal, and it’s probably going to get legally messy. via Market Watch:

“Mr. Musk is terminating the Merger Agreement because Twitter is in material breach of multiple provisions of that Agreement, appears to have made false and misleading representations upon which Mr. Musk relied when entering into the Merger Agreement, and is likely to suffer a Company Material Adverse Effect.”

Below is the original post:

Well, I’m starting to think that Elon Musk won’t end up being Twitter’s official cringe-based overlord after all (I really shouldn’t have pre-ordered those 200 t-shirts to sell out of my car). We’ve known for a while that Elon has been stalling on his $44 billion purchase of Twitter since he made a deal with them in April.  Since then, Elon has been pulling some “Whoops, I must have left my wallet in the car!” shenanigans, by way of accusing Twitter of not being totally forthcoming about how many Twitter users are spam bots. And by all accounts, it sounds like Elon might be changing his wallet-in-the-car story to just straight-up dine-and-dashing.

RadioShack’s Twitter Account Didn’t Get Hacked, They’re Just Selling Crypto Now

July 1, 2022 / Posted by:

Since society now insists on spiraling more backward as each day passes, it would be nice if we could at least replicate some of the pleasantries of the past; like the feeling of your mom letting you get a Nerds Rope AND a box of Raisinets in the check-out line of Blockbuster after scoring the last copy of The Mask on a Friday night. But sorry, the best we’ve got is RadioShack creeping back into our lives with skanky tweets to sell imaginary money to wannabe finance bros who’ve never seen a female breast in person before. The other day, RadioShack’s Twitter page went viral after it tweeted, If you find a squirter marry her.” No, RadioShack’s Twitter wasn’t hacked, this is their current strategy of pandering to their new target audience since internet marketer, Tai Lopez, bought the flailing company and decided that what the world was missing was another place to buy crypto.

Elon Musk Is Ready To Walk Away From His Twitter Deal Because Of The Alleged Spambot Issue

June 6, 2022 / Posted by:

Elon Musk seems to be having some major buyer’s remorse over his recent announcement that he’s buying Twitter for $44 billion, and he has made it known that he is ready to back out of that deal in an instant, if Twitter is unable to provide Elon with the information he needs before he forks over all those billions. And what does Elon want? Exact numbers on just how many fake accounts a future Twitter owner might find on such a social media platform. Twitter has explicitly stated that they’re 100% committed to the sale, by any means necessary, like by bringing in a team of lawyers and enforcing a merger agreement. But Elon doesn’t care about that right now. All he wants is the details on those fake accounts.

Elon Musk Hit With A Lawsuit From Twitter Shareholders For Tanking The Stock

May 28, 2022 / Posted by:

Elon Musk continues to surprise and shock the world by wasting his time on Twitter shenanigans. After attempting to buy the company for $43 billion in April, the deal still hasn’t closed. Mainly because Elon keeps acting like an ass. He’s acted SO much like one that Twitter has finally said, “Buy it now, bitch!” and has slapped the billionaire with a lawsuit, claiming that he’s been trying to drive down the stock price. Instead of secluding yourself on an island and doing nothing forever like what the rest of us would do if we had billions of dollars, Elon continues to do stupid shit for the lulz!

Twitter Is Still Committed To Their $44 Billion Deal With Elon Musk, Regardless Of What He’s Saying

May 18, 2022 / Posted by:

Well, it’s been almost a month since Elon Musk decided to live out his real-life Dr. Evil fantasy and buy Twitter for (dramatic music crescendo and aggressive zoom-in) $44 billion dollars. If you’re a person who uses Twitter, you may be wondering why the platform still generally feels the same as it did prior to Elon’s little takeover, and that would be because Elon hasn’t taken over shit yet. Elon and Twitter’s previous shareholders are still working out the details of his deal, which sort of began to slow down on Elon’s end. Elon started looking for excuses for why he couldn’t complete payment on his purchase, like how he’s hesitant to own Twitter until he finds out just how many accounts are spambots first. But Twitter doesn’t care about how Elon chooses to drag his feet on this thing. They just want to see the deal done because they’re not backing out.
