And even though she got married on May 4th (International Star Wars Day) and Chewbacca just died, she did not have a Star Wars themed wedding. Rude and wrong.

To add insult to injury, British Vogue was there to cover the entire wedding in order to fucking rub it into all of our faces today. The only positive thing I have to say about this is that at least Idris and Sabrina ripped the Band-Aid off and wasted no time in getting married after breaking all of our hearts in February when they got engaged. Actually, I don’t think that helps. I’m going to need my full body Idris pillow and super-cut of the best of Stringer Bell from The Wire STAT while weeping on the couch with cheesecake. I watched Revenge all the way until the very end when it was likely just me and the parents of each cast member tuning in each week for the actual broadcast. Sure, the plot was terrible, and not even a bitchy line from Madeline Stowe could save it at the end. What got me through it was Amy Winehouse’s ex Josh Bowman. Was Josh’s performance Emmy-worthy? Absolutely not. Was he drool-worthy? Oh, HAIL, yes. Oh, and he was also boinking his on-screen kinda-fake girlfriend/fiancée Emily VanCamp. Don’t say true love doesn’t last because they’ve been dating since they met on set, and they finally got married over the weekend.

Princess Ayako, the 28-year-old daughter of Prince and Princess Takamado got married today, but it wasn’t to a fellow blue blood. She married 32-year-old Japanese businessman Kei Moriya. However, unlike the British royal family, which would probably let you get married to the Domino’s delivery guy and still keep your title (hey, he’s probably better behaved than most of the actual family), slumming it with a rich businessman means your title gets snatched in Japan. Wikipedia already did the honors, but it also poses a risk for the longevity of the imperial family – only 17 members remain!

You ever see a couple and the only thing you can think about is how the fuck do they have sex? Well, here’s a doozy for you. The guy who plays Gregor Clegane, aka The Mountain, on Game of Thrones is a real big boy. Like rhull, rhull big. Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson (all praise to the Copy/Paste Gods) is 6’ 9” and weighs over 400 pounds. According to Us Weekly, he just married his girlfriend Kelsey Henson who is 5’ 2” and can’t weigh more than a buck. Kelsey is 28 and Hafþór is 49. Psyche! Hafþór is only 29! Somehow this is really surprising. Like, I assumed it took at least a couple of decades to become The World’s Strongest Man (a title he currently holds). But I was wrong, he’s a mere youth. The couple got married in Hafþór’s home country of Iceland.
