There are few celebrity men that almost all of Dlisted Nation can agree are a hot piece of sex that we all want to climb. Idris Elba is one of those special few. So it’s with a heavy heart that we must report he got engaged this weekend. Find someone you love and trust to hold you during this trying time. Page Six reports that Idris got proposed to girlfriend Sabrina Dhowre before a screening of his new flick. Maybe not the most romantic way to do it, but he’s probably super-busy and had to fit getting engaged into his busy being sexy AF schedule.

Rio Cinema in London Instagrammed the news, along with a clip of Idris proposing to that evil tramp who is close to pulling off the crime of the century! This all took place before a screening of Idris’ new film Yardie.

Those in the audience who were able to remain conscious after this devastating blow went on Twitter to pretend like they were super happy for Idris. LIES.

One tweeted: “At cast & crew screening of YARDIES & Idris Elba just proposed to his girlfriend Sabrina!! Big Congrats !!”

There’s nothing cute about Idris Elba murdering our dreams by tying himself down to some random but whatever!

Idris, 45, and Sabrina, 29, met last year while he was filming The Mountain Between Us in Canada with Kate Winslet. Idris is the marrying type because this will be his third trip down the aisle. He was married to Hanne ‘Kim’ Norgaard from 1999 until 2003 and to Sonya Nicole Hanklin in 2006. He and Kim have a daughter together named Isan, 15. He also has a three-year-old son with ex-girlfriend Naiyana Garth. So Idris’ sexy comes with baggage. Whatever. Just go to a few school plays as daddy’s hot new wife. It’s little price to pay for that sexy majesty getting on you on the regular.
