Erika Jayne is going to have one hell of a storyline on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills because she’s being accused of some financial schemes with her husband Tom Girardi. After Erika filed for divorce, Tom was accused of allegedly embezzling millions of dollars from the families of victims from the Boeing plane crash in 2018. And his legal partners are suing him over a bunch of stuff. And he had a mystery illness that put him in the hospital. And he had his assets frozen. And the feds may start looking into him for criminal stuff. Well, if all this legal trouble leads to Tom going broke broke, at least Erika knows this drama can keep her on RHOBH for the next decade.
Tom Girardi Doesn’t Want To Give Erika Jayne Spousal Support
Erika Jayne’s split from 81-year-old Tom Girardi keeps getting messier. Plot summary: the 49-year-old member of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills filed for divorce about a month ago. They’ve been married twenty-one years, have no kids (though she has an adult cop son from her first marriage), and they don’t have a prenup. There were rumors of affairs, living separate lives, and major financial problems that stemmed from Tom’s many lawsuits. Then, last week, the couple got sued for fraud and embezzlement by Edelson PC, a class action law firm representing the families of the passengers killed in a 2018 plane crash. The lawsuit alleges that the couple is “on the verge of financial collapse” and are embezzling money through their divorce, which is a “sham attempt to fraudulently protect” their assets from the victims’ families. Sham divorce, sham pop career, sham reality show! I believe that’s known in the biz as a sham WOW!
Now news has broken that super-lawyer Tom responded to Erika’s divorce filing a couple of weeks ago. He requested to terminate the court’s ability to award spousal support to his estranged wife (which she asked for in her initial filing) and asked that she pay his attorney’s fees. A wha-wha-whaaaa?

At the time there were conspiracy theories that the divorce was somehow related to Tom’s many lawsuits (fraud, stealin’, scammin’, hookin’ [OK, not that last one]). Cut to today: Both Erika and Tom are being sued by Edelson PC, a class action firm, on behalf of Boeing plane crash victims. The lawsuit alleges their divorce is a sham, and the couple is actually embezzling settlement funds meant for the families of the victims who were killed in the 2018 Lion Air Flight 610 crash. Oh wow, this got dark fast.
