Ellen DeGeneres Has Fired Three Senior Producers From Her Show
Long before Pink was powering-belting about today being the day she’s been waiting for, the theme song for Ellen was an upbeat little dance club ditty that urged you to “have a little fun today.” Well, just like that old theme song, the opportunity to have a little fun today is officially over for three senior producers of Ellen. Like one of Ellen DeGeneres’ favorite executive producers (and alleged workplace harasser) Kevin Leman, seen in a bit with Ellen above. Kevin, along with two others, won’t be returning to the show, effective immediately. And Ellen is very sorry that things turned into a shit-show behind the scenes.
Ellen DeGeneres And Kevin Hart Met Up For Lunch
Move over Brian Austin Green, you’re not the only one getting papped on intimate California lunch dates! This past weekend, Queen of Mean Ellen DeGeneres and Kevin Hart were spotted dining at a hotel in Montecito, CA. Ellen wore a tropical shirt with khakis, while a chin-masking Kevin opted for “child’s PJs on a hot night” eleganza.
These two have been friends for a while. Kevin’s a frequent guest on Ellen’s show, and last year she famously came to his defense after he was canned from hosting the Oscars because of old homophobic tweets. Now I guess it’s his turn to return the favor and stand up for evil.
Ellen DeGeneres’ Home Burglary Was Apparently An Inside Job
Ellen DeGeneres’ terrible, horrible, no good, very bad year got worse last month when her and Portia de Rossi’s $27 million Montecito mansion got robbed. Investigators are now saying that they believe the theft (which included expensive jewelry and watches) was an inside job. That makes it seem like Ellen dramatically staged it all for sympathy, or Portia is making her move to exit, but cops don’t believe that either of them had anything to do with it.
Stephen “tWitch” Boss Says He Can’t Really Talk About The Ellen DeGeneres Rumors, But Says There’s “Been Love”
There have been many famous people who have jumped to the defense of Ellen DeGeneres over accusations that she’s meaner than mean. Which of course directly contradicts what has been alleged by past and present employees, who spoke to BuzzFeed about the toxic workplace culture at Ellen. Hmmm…so who to believe? The people who get invited to Ellen’s house for wine and expensive snacks, or the people who dodge her ass in the halls. Well, one current employee has decided to speak out, and that would be Ellen’s sidekick, her DJ Stephen “tWitch” Boss.
Howard Stern Thinks Ellen DeGeneres Should Embrace Her Reputation As A Meanie
It’s probably safe to say that by now, just about everyone and their dog has heard the rumor that Ellen DeGeneres fakes the nice for TV while being a nightmare employer behind the scenes. I say “employer” specifically, because there are still some rich famous people out there who don’t seem to understand that someone could be both a good friend and a terrible boss. And of course, there are some people who are happy to stick their fingers in their ears and say, “Hashtag I stand by Ellennnnnnn.” But lots of people have read the allegations from past and present Ellen employees, and all the first-person stories on social media.
I don’t know what kind of reputation damage control Ellen has been doing to prepare for her return to TV this fall – maybe taking some online classes with the Care Bears or practicing how to hold a smile for 60 minutes. Howard Stern has decided to offer up a little advice to Ellen. And Howard thinks Ellen should just scrap the whole nice act and lean into her alleged reputation as an asshole.
A Man Claims Ellen DeGeneres Bullied Him In The 70s When He Was An 11-Year-Old
Ellen DeGeneres has recently been Lea Michele-ed as awful stories about her and her show have trickled into the mainstream. As an investigation into the toxic environment of her show goes down, more stories about Ellen being a devil on earth are coming out including one from way back in the day. A man named Ben Gravolet told a tale to The Daily Mail about how Ellen was a monster before she was rich, famous, and powerful. According to Ben, a 20-something Ellen worked for his mom back in the 70s and bullied him. Yup, here comes the “Ellen devours the souls of children” stories.
