Matthew McConaughey Didn’t Talk To His Mom For Eight Years Because She Kept Talking To The Media About Him

Moms. The only thing they love more than talking to their kids is talking about their kids. And why should moms of celebrities be any different? Like a bunch of other stars right now, Matthew McConaughey just released his new memoir, entitled Greenlights, and he went on Howard Stern to plug, plug, plug. Soon the topic turned to his 88-year-old mother Kay McConaughey. No, Matthew didn’t get into his dad dying while sexing his mom (although, that’s in the book). But Matthew did get into how his mom’s blabbermouth messed up his relationship with her. Apparently, when Matthew first got famous in the nineties, Kay didn’t deal with it very well and leaked all his private information to the press. Matthew says she became “a different person”, and things got so bad that they were estranged for eight years. Sad face emoji. Continue reading

Anderson Cooper Is Richer Since He’s Inherited A Large Portion Of His Mother Gloria Vanderbilt’s Estate

Anderson Cooper‘s mother Gloria Vanderbilt recently passed away  and Anderson has stated on several occasions that he will not inherit his mother’s fortune. Well..looks like Gloria is pulling off one final surprise by gifting Anderson with most of her estate. She also left a portion to her eldest son and nothing to her middle son.

I guess it really does suck to be the middle child….Jan Brady had it right all along…

Nicole Kidman Talked About Her Scientologist Kids Isabella And Connor Cruise

Say what you will about Nicole Kidman’s taste in men and wigs (and let’s face it, beards), but I don’t think anybody would claim she’s a bad mom. In an interview with the Australian magazine with the delightfully shady title “Who?” (question mark my addition), Nicole finally discussed her relationship with her two eldest children with Tom Cruise; Connor Cruise (23) and Isabella Cruise (25). It is with much shame and consternation that I report I got touched in the feels (which I thought had all turned into a globule of See’s Peanut Brittle, which if you’ve never tried it, is totally worth exchanging for celebrity empathy) reading about Nicole’s thoughts on her children’s decision to go the way of L. Ron Hubbard.
