Nicole Kidman Is Not Here For Your Wig Questions

September 11, 2018 / Posted by:

Anyone who has seen her in Big Little Lies, her on the red carpet, or her in this magazine shoot knows Nicole Kidman enjoys a good wig from time to time. Well, I guess Nicole thought she had been pulling the wig, er, wool over our eyes all this time because she did NOT like it when someone asked her to rank her wig choices during a Q&A at the Toronto International Film Festival. She was there to promote Destroyer, a movie where she plays a traumatized cop who expresses such with scowls and a grayed-out That Girl wig (above). When a reporter asked her to rank her wigs, she poo-poohed that.

Destroyer also stars Tatiana Maslany and Sebastian Stan and is about a cop who is super chilled by a case she worked on a long time ago.

Considering she is also rocking a Bible Study leader’s bouffant wig in Boy Erased this fall, it seems perfectly normal for an inquiring mind to want to know how this year’s wigs rank compared to, say, Batman Forever. I guess Nicole didn’t agree:

Oh, please. With her box office wig-off this fall, that is NOT an awful question. It’s not like he asked you who’s the biggest bitch on Big Little Lies or to rank your children in order from most to least likely to prefer to call you by your first name. I hope the reporter was like, “Fine, let me rephrase. Which wigs did Keith Urban try to steal from you to take on tour?
