Britney Spears Doesn’t Really Talk To Or See Kevin Federline Anymore

Britney Spears, who just celebrated her 38th birthday yesterday, had a rough few months. She had another breakdown, her dad Jamie Spears was accused of abusing her son, and there was a conservatorship fight which ended with her dad still holding all the strings. Well, now there’s more news about Brit, but thankfully it’s good, as sources are saying she’s actually doing well. She’s focusing on herself and her children, Sean Preston and Jayden James. But sources say she basically never sees her kids’ father Kevin Federline, because she’s chilling with her mom, sister, or hot, buff boyfriend. So sadly, no live performances of Popozão for Brit.

Us Weekly has some exclusive sources and they’re saying some good things. Positive news in the tabloids is rare: make a wish, kids! The source is saying that things are looking up for Britney after her earlier dramas.

Kevin Federline recently got 70% custody of their sons, afterJamie and Sean Preston allegedly had an explosive fight which saw Jamie break down a door to get to his grandson and serve up a disciplinary smackdown. Needless to say, Britney was pissed. Jamie ended up with no charges for the incident, despite a restraining order being filed by Kevin. There was also talk of Brit’s mom Lynne Spears asking the judge to terminate Jamie as conservator because she didn’t believe he had their daughter’s best interests in mind anymore. But that didn’t happen and Jamie is still Brit’s conservator.

Britney may have reportedly lost the fight for her freedom, but she’s been moving forward and focusing on her kids who she now sees only 30% of their time. And like a true Divorced And Moving On™ mom, Britney barely even talks to Kevin unless it’s about the kids and it’s all about them:

“Britney does not have much of a relationship with Kevin other than everyday coparenting stuff. They’re cordial but don’t do very much as a family… Preston and Jayden are either with their mom or dad, very rarely both parents. Britney is seeing the boys for her birthday on Monday [December 2] and is excited to have dinner and celebrate with them.”

Here’s an Instagram of her birthday celebrations, which I’m not sure her boys were a part of:

The source says she is in a “positive headspace” after six months being out from her treatment facility, and she’s been taking time for herself:

“She has spent the last year prioritizing herself and her well-being, something she did not have a chance to do as much during her Las Vegas residency. She has had less time with her sons but got really close with her mom, Lynne, and sister, Jamie Lynn, again recently. Britney spends most of her time at home with her boyfriend, Sam [Asghari], or alone. Her relationship with Sam is rock-solid. He brings her so much joy and is a source of stability in her often chaotic life.”

This is the kind of Britney Spears news that clears your skin. Good for Britney; doing well in the arms of her well-muscled video-THOT boyfriend. Truly she is a pop icon. And while I don’t want to stop seeing Britney Spears shows because, I mean, that’s robbing the world of too much–we really should think of alternatives. Instead of a Britney Residency I propose we just get drag queens to memorize her routines and lip sync along with Britney’s own dancers. Britney ain’t singing herself noway, come now: we know this. So really it’s the same effect.  Derrick Barry: it’s time to take some dance lessons and call Daddy Spears to propose a job–If he can’t make her dance for his cash he’ll need a replacement.
