Gaten Matarazzo Is Hosting A Prank Show That Hires People For Fake Jobs, And The Internet Already Hates It
In the grand tradition of Punk’d, Scare Tactics, and Jackass, Deadline reports that Netflix has ordered eight episodes of a series called Prank Encounters, in which innocent strangers will be pranked on the job by 16-year-old Gaten Matarazzo, who plays Dustin on Stranger Things. The basis of the pranks is that people are hired for fake jobs, not knowing their new job is fake, and they were only hired so strangers at home can laugh at their misfortune. If that seems kind of like a cruel set up, then you might be one of the many people who called the show out before a single episode has been released.

The first night of the Spice Girls (sans Posh) UK reunion tour finally happened last night in Dublin, Ireland, and instead of the sound of a million post-pubescent nostalgia thirsty middle aged fans screaming “Zigzag Ah” along with the band, it was more like the crowd holding up ear trumpets and asking “Zigazig- HUH?” because the sound quality in Croke Park was so terrible, reportedly. Was this a calculated move to mask how awful the vocals still now sound, or did the sound engineer forget to leave off all the mics except for Sporty Spice Mel C‘s like the old days? Come on, we all know that Sporty’s the only one who can really “sing“.

Those are the only explanations I can think of that would explain why she would squander the last shred of her integrity as an artist by signing on to do one of Adam Sandler’s nutsack gag ridden Netflix movies.
