There Will Be A “Mini-Trial” This Summer To Hear Evidence About Allegations That Jamie Spears Spied On Britney Spears
While the public spat with her sister Jamie Lynn Spears seems to have moved off the internet’s front lawn for the time being, Britney Spears is still having her attorney Mathew Rosengart wail on her family behind closed doors. Yesterday he sent a cease and desist letter to Jamie Lynn requesting she keep Britney’s name out her mouth while promoting her book. And according to Deadline, at a hearing yesterday, Judge Brenda Penny agreed to hold an evidentiary hearing, basically a “mini-trial,” to determine whether or not Britney’s dad Jamie Spears actually spied on her by having her “various phones and other devices” monitored during his 13-year tenure as executor of her estate. Daddy Spears will also need to address allegations of financial misconduct as he seeks to have his attorney’s fees paid back to him at that same hearing which is scheduled to take place this summer.

Britney Spears’ lawyer Mathew Rosengart has already helped her get out of her 13-year conservatorship, but he’s far from done. He dropped a cease and desist into the lap of Jamie Lynn Spears over what she’s said about Britney during the promo tour of her book Things I Never Said. And on top of that, Mathew filed court documents claiming that Britney’s father Jamie Spears made $6 million during the conservatorship and that $30 million was paid out to lawyers over the years.

Jamie Spears Is Accusing Britney Spears’s Team Of Delaying His Termination As Conservator And Slandering His “Reputation”
Britney Spears may finally be free in spirit since the court ruled to end her 13-year conservatorship last month, but there are still a few loose ends to be tied up before she’s officially free to start rebuilding her life in earnest. According to Insider, one of those loose ends is Britney’s dad and former conservator, Jamie Spears, who has been accused by Britney’s team of not following the proper termination procedure, and that what he did file was “incorrect, grossly misleading, and procedurally improper.” They also say that Jamie has yet to produce alleged records pertaining to their claims that he had an “illicit listening device” placed in Britney’s bedroom “to capture intimate communications.” But Jamie has spit on those accusations and says that Britney’s team is just “looking for a seat on the bandwagon of trashing [him] based on zero evidence.” Look, he already loaded up the pickup truck and dumped a mountain of wrinkled-up Starbucks receipts at their back door, what more do they want?! Blood? Have you seen him lately? He doesn’t have a drop to spare.

Britney Spears‘ conservatorship finally ended last week after she was under the control of her conservators including her father, Jamie Spears, since 2008. Britney has been vocal about how much her family screwed her over and has specifically gone after her mom, Lynne Spears, recently as Britney claimed the idea for the conservatorship came from Lynne in the first place. Now that Britney is free, she’s ready to both save other people being taken advantage of and also raise some Hell for the people who wronged her Kill Bill style; at least that’s what it seems like, as she has continuously roasted her mom on social media and now a source says that Britney is looking to answer some “unresolved questions” in a “formal setting.”
