A Baker Has Accused Miley Cyrus of Ripping Off Her Cake Design
Apparently it’s Messy Cake Feuds Week. Except unlike yesterday’s cake battle, in which a woman got pissed at Walmart not getting anywhere near the cake she wanted, this feud is about Miley Cyrus getting exactly the cake she wanted. Problem is, she allegedly didn’t ask first before she stole the design from the baker, and now that baker is pissed.
Chris Brown Went After Chvrches For Criticizing His Collaboration With Marshmello
Washington state is inches away from passing a bill that will end clock changes and make it Pacific Daylight Time year-round. Sloth-like humans are saying HELL YES to the change, with only a few sadists in the state House voting to continue the evil tradition of rising in pitch blackness in the bowels of winter with a Vote of 89 to 7. Regardless of this potential bucking of the system and upset of the status quo, the world is still spinning, the birds are still chirping, and Chris Brown is still being an asshole. In other words, nothing has changed. There’s a new tale of Chris Brown assholery today, this time against the Scottish band Chvrches, who publicly stated their disappointment in DJ/Producer Marshmello for working with Chris and Tyga on an upcoming project.
Steven Spielberg May Have Kissed And Made Up With Netflix
A week or so after cranky dinosaur Steven Spielberg threw a Hollywood power broker version of a toddler’s tantrum over Netflix movies being in the running for Oscars, he appears to be changing his tune. Steven and Ted Sarandos, the head of Netflix, were seen meeting at a members-only club where they probably talked about how they can kiss and make-up and be friends.
Olivia de Havilland Is Taking Her “Feud” Fight Against Ryan Murphy To The Supreme Court
102-year-old Olivia de Havilland is Not The One, as Ryan Murphy has painfully come to find out. Olivia is not giving up her long fight against Ryan for what she claims is his totally bogus impersonation of her in Feud: Bette and Joan. Even though the California Supreme Court decided not to review her case against Ryan last July, Olivia is continuing to Vaseline up her knuckles and is not backing down in her protection of her pristine Hollywood image. Olivia and her legal team are taking her case to The Highest Court Of The Land.
Olivia De Havilland Hates That Ryan Murphy Made Her Look Like A Gossip In “Feud”
During the summer, Olivia de Havilland sued FX and Feud creator Ryan Murphy for using her likeness in the show without her permission. She also turned her nose up at Catherine Zeta-Jones’ portrayal of her. 101-year-old Olivia later asked a court to speed up the legal process because, well, she’s 101 years old and every minute counts. Ryan Murphy’s side argued that any depiction of Olivia was protected under First Amendment rights. They also argued that they didn’t have to contact her for her “side” of the story. Olivia has recently responded.
Olivia de Havilland Is Suing Ryan Murphy And “Feud”
Feud: Bette and Joan was a hoot, if you’re into glamorous Golden Age of Hollywood catfights and loyal maids telling the groundskeepers to shut up about not getting paid. Susan Sarandon was crackling as she sort of gave us Bette Davis. I’m not sure who Jessica Lange was playing but, nonetheless, she was entertaining as hell.
The series was structured around other Hollywood stars of yore giving fictional interviews about Bette and Joan Crawford at an Oscars ceremony in the 1970s. Bette’s loyal bestie, Olivia de Havilland, was played by Catherine Zeta-Jones as a classy broad (despite referring to her own legendary feud with her “bitch sister,” actress Joan Fontaine) and just chock full of gossip about the two insane divas. Despite her positive portrayal, Olivia is suing television gay mafia head and Feud creator Ryan Murphy and FX. Look for Ryan to make this into a series for Feud’s sixth reboot in 2047.
