Lily James Says There’s A Lot To Say About Dominic West, But Not Right Now
Lily James recently gave an interview to The Guardian, to talk about her role in the upcoming BBC One period drama series, The Pursuit of Love. That’s the one she was working on with Dominic West, who she was seen kissing and scooting around Rome with back in October. You can’t even so much as see the words The Pursuit of Love without immediately thinking of those pictures of the very-much-married Dominic and the maybe mislead Lily. The drama continues to linger, so much that it’s been rumored that Dominic agreed to stay as far away from Lily as possible, which means no promotional duties for him. Lily is the main character, so of course she’s the one who got the Guardian interview. And of course, they asked her about that situation with Dominic. Dominic probably went out and bought the big pack of extra-absorbent kitchen towels in anticipation of this day, so he could mop up the gallon of nervous sweat gushing out of his body while worrying about what Lily might spill. But he can put them all back in storage because Lily pretty much said nothing.
The Second “Downton Abbey” Movie Has Gone Into Production, And Dominic West Will Join The Cast
The Downton Abbey sequel has gone into production and is set to be released on December 22 of this very year. And guess who’s joining the cast? THEE Love Rat King himself, Dominic West. Now, I would be remiss if I didn’t point out that Lily James was also in Downton Abbey, the TV show. She played Rose, a beautiful young rich girl who loves love and breaking the rules. Dominic’s casting means that Lily will definitely not be returning as Rose in the sequel, cuz the pumpkin eater promised his wife Catherine Fitzgerald he’d never work with Lily again! He PROMISED! So does this mean from here on out all of Dirty Dom’s contracts have a “No Lily” clause?

Dominic West became a household name in all the worst ways last fall when he was seen kissing his The Pursuit of Love co-star Lily James in Rome. The problem with that is that Dominic is very much married to Catherine FitzGerald, a landscape artist, Irish aristocrat, and 800-year-old castle owner. Dominic and Catherine are still together, which means those pictures of him kissing his co-star clearly didn’t do nearly as much damage as they could have. Surely Dominic had to prove to Catherine that he was worth keeping around, and normally that might require some big expensive gesture, like a new car or a diamond ring. But Dominic’s wife inherited a castle, and nothing is going to top that. Instead, a thrifty Dominic presented his wife with a promise that he will stay away from Lily James forever.

Despite what the Sharpie ink might have led you to believe, Dominic West’s ten-year marriage to Irish aristocrat Catherine FitzGerald might not be as strong as previously assumed. Last month, Dominic was caught by photographers with his co-star Lily James in a way that screamed, “Uh, what do you mean he’s not in an open relationship?” Dominic and his wife responded to those photos by assuring everyone that their marriage is strong. Then more pictures of Dominic and Lily came out, and an allegedly “humiliated” Catherine went to Ireland for a “work trip,” to “weigh her options.” If that sounded like the beginning of the end, well – congratulations, your ears are in great shape. Because The Sun is saying that Catherine is done.
Lily James Was Coy When Answering Questions About Chris Evans As Dominic West’s Wife Is Reportedly Weighing Her Options
After breaking up with her long-time boyfriend Matt Smith but before her dalliance with her married co-star Dominic West, Lily James enjoyed a boozy/powdery(?) picnic in the park with pals and was spotted around London with America’s Hunk, Chris Evans, COVID be damned. Safe to say she’s checked the box marked brazen, but she has yet to embrace the hussy label. A bolder actress might take advantage of being at the center of what is possibly the most fun gossip story of the pandemic and really make a meal of it (did Angelina Jolie teach the girls nothing?!?!), however Lily continues to demur. According to CinemaBlend, Lily’s press obligations to promote Rebecca included an interview with The Guardian. When asked about her relationship with Chris, Lily responded “no comment” instead of giving us the inside scoop on Chris’ iPhone remake of The Shadow. To which I say BOO.

On today’s episode, a source says 51-year-old Dominic was “always very flirtatious” with Lily while shooting their new show The Pursuit of Love, and it seemed like his marriage was an “open” thing.
