As if COVID-19 hasn’t been enough of a bitch, now Costco is discontinuing the sale of their legendary half-sheet cakes in what many are speculating to be the massive wholesale chain’s attempt at discouraging social gatherings. Personally, I’m about ready to take a stand here and throw a massive HOW DARE YOU? at the bakery lady at my local store. Costco is wrong for this and has a lot of explaining to do.

People reports that the cake drama keeps rolling. Last time it was the Moana/Marijuana mix-up that kept us amused at the everyday ridiculousness of life. But today we take it a step further. Here is the cake which is calling a two-year-old girl a “Loser.” I love a bitchy cake that looks like it was made by Regina George, but the truth is that most two-year-olds aren’t losers. They don’t have to pay bills. They get chauffeured around everywhere. And they get free cake (even “Loser” cake). They’re winning!

We’ve all made the mistake of hearing a Mariah Carey song and thinking, “Is that actually Mariah Carey or is it two-time Nobel Peace Prize recipient Marie Curie?” Marie Curie is the physicist best known for discovering radioactive elements polonium and radium and being the only person to win a Nobel Peace Prize in two different categories. Mariah Carey is the pop star diva who loves rainbows, her lambs and doesn’t know who Jennifer Lopez is. Some might think it’s hard to mistake these two glamorous divas, but a bakery in England did just that.
