Celebrities Stunted From Home For The 72nd Emmys “Red Carpet”
The Emmys happened last night despite nobody being allowed near each other due to coronavirus still spreading through humanity one TikTok party mansion at a time. A few celebrities (like Jennifer Aniston, Tracee Ellis Ross, Laverne Cox, etc…) showed up at the Staples Center to present, but most celebrities stayed home. The ceremonial red carpet was switched up and the famous people just took their own pics and posted them themselves. Their choice of professional photography and they don’t have to make small talk with whatever half-peasant correspondent was put in front of them? Talk about a big win.
Kerry Washington was nominated for her role in Little Fires Everywhere where her character was more detrimental to a white woman’s mental state than a White Claw shortage and hired a professional photographer to stunt in Oscar de la Renta and Dolce & Gabbana.

The cast of Schitt’s Creek swept the house and got together for their own Emmy celebration. Dan Levy wore a Thom Browne suited kilt. Annie Murphy also suited up in Valentino. Catherine O’Hara sadly didn’t bust out one of Moira’s wigs, but she did goth it up in Valentino. And Eugene Levy wore a Dior Men suit.

Tituss Burgess decided to find the most flamboyant casual look I’ve ever seen created by a human person, and wore a fire-truck red short-short tracksuit which upon further inspection I think was a romper, so like add another ten gay-points for that. And then he closed the night in a silken champagne-colored bodysuit. Both looks were by Lee Rickie Collections.
