Kevin Federline Responded To The Theory That He’s Moving His And Britney Spears’ Sons To Hawaii To Extend Her Child Support Payments

Kevin Federline and the media have had kind of a methy relationship lately. Most recently, his lawyer ran to them to blab that Britney Spears hadn’t completed the paper trail for him to move their sons, Jayden and Preston, to Hawaii, and if she didn’t, they’d have to go to court. Although Britney (also via her attorney) stopped dancing for a minute to respond that she consents, her fans (or KFed’s haters) have been skeptical of his motives. He says the move is because his current wife, Victoria Prince, was offered a job there. However, Page Six says many on social media are speculating that the move is because Kevin wants to use Hawaii’s child support guidelines as a loophole that could extend Britney’s payments by a few years. But when a pap caught Kevin out the other day, he seemingly denied that accusation.

As with all things Britney-related, social media came up with a theory–this time, it’s that Kevin’s intentionally moving their kids to a state where Britney would potentially have to continue paying support each month for their two boys (whom she hasn’t seen in over a year) until they’re 23, as long as they continue their education.

“He’s doing this because the courts can force her to pay child support up to the age of 23 in Hawaii,” one Twitter user surmised.

“Kevin desperately wanting to move to Hawaii is definitely child support related,” another agreed.

In Hawaii, payments are notably ordered for children up to the age of 23 if they are enrolled full-time in either an accredited college or university or a vocational or trade school.

One member of the Britney Army even went so far as to suggest that Federline was fleeing California just after being sued for owing his other minor children’s private school more than $15,000 in tuition.

When a pap casually caught up with Kevin outside of a McDonald’s (which tracks so hard) and asked him if KFed’s trying to remain well-fed by relocating to Hawaii to maximize his time suckling from Britney’s hand-bra’ed teats, he shot it down.

“A lot of people say a lot of stupid things,” Federline — who shares Sean Preston, 17, and Jayden James, 16, with Spears — told a paparazzo who asked him about the claims outside of a McDonald’s on Monday in a video exclusively obtained by Page Six.

Spears, 41, previously paid Federline, 45, $20,000 a month in child support, but he demanded an increase to $60,000 a month in May 2018. He and the pop star, who has an estimated net worth of $60 million, reached a confidential agreement that August.

Britney has yet to wear out her exclamation point key on Instagram in response to this theory. But maybe the “Popozão” royalties aren’t trickling in anymore, and the Kevin and Jamie Spears fatherhood manual collab isn’t coming along, and Kevin’s making the move because he is worried about his wallet while caring for two kids with a high-profile celeb parent. Or, maybe Victoria did simply just get another job. Whatever his reasons, it’s probably time for Kevin to silently scoot his ass away from McDonald’s paps and reporters from The Daily Mail.
