Chris Pratt Has The Boo-Hoos After The Internet Made Fun Of His Weird Post About His Wife

The battle of the Celebrity Chrises rages on with some Chrises being crowned “sexiest” while others are dubbed “most annoying.” After making a weird tribute to his wife Katherine Schwarzeneggar on Instagram, Chris Pratt received a bit of backlash from the public. Some said it was a veiled hit against his ex-wife Anna Faris and their son and others thought it stank of “Cool youth pastor on social media.” Long story short, he didn’t gain any new fans from that post (he’s got the Stepford Wife vote on lock, though).

Rather than let the whole thing go, he donned his best American man outfit and took to Instagram to express his woes about not being universally loved. Chris Pratt continues to excel in being the least-best Chris.

In his cringeworthy ode to his wife, Chris praised her for giving him a healthy daughter (which some took as a slap to Anna and their 9-year-old son Jack Pratt who was born premature and with several health issues) and also wrote that his wife’s heart is pure and belongs to him. Chris got made fun of and dragged for his serial killer-like ode to his wife, and the backlash has made him sad. But there was no mention of his son. As detailed by Yahoo:

“I went to bed last night really kind of upset and depressed,” Pratt said Friday in his Instagram Story, “and I woke up feeling crappy and I didn’t want to work out.”

“I knew that if I put on my Christian music playlist, and I got out of the woods and ran that I’d feel better, but I just didn’t want to,” Pratt said, “and I did it anyways and, gosh, was I right. It felt amazing. I got out of the woods, got my blood pumping.”

“That moment,” he said, “it really captured me and so I just want to say, all glory to God.”

So, Chris Pratt usually wakes up WANTING to work out?! And he loves nothing more than running through the woods while blasting Christian music in his ears?! Well, that explains everything!

In addition to listening to the “Non-Stop Worship Songs” playlist on YouTube, Chris also has the support of his famous family to help him through these dark times. Mother-in-law Maria Shriver dove into the comments section of his original Instagram post to lift his spirits in case Jesus wasn’t all that bothered to deal with it.

i want to remind you today what a good man you are what a great father you are to jack and lyla what a great husband you are to katherine what a great son in law you are to me and what a great sense of humor you have !! i love you chris keep being your wonderful self rise above the noise your kids love your family loves you your wife loves you what a beautiful life i’m proud of you xo

That’s the thing when you marry into the Kennedys. You know they’re gonna have your back no matter what the situation. (Chappaquiddick, anyone?) And Maria probably decided to praise Chris after thinking, “Well, it’s not like he’s made a baby with his side piece.”
