JLo And A-Rod Are Over After Four Years Together
Mr. Met just breathed out the biggest sigh of relief of all-time because if Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez actually managed to buy the Mets, poor Mr. Met would be covered in olive oil (from JLo) and roid-infused slime (from A-Rod) as they fought over him!
Page Six was first to report that the most powerful power couple of our time (in their heads) have dumped their true, everlasting, organic love into the shit can after being together for four years, and engaged for two. TMZ says that The Kingdom of J-Rod crumbled just today, so the cherubs must have whispered the news to Page Six before doing the slow wall slide of sadness over the end of this union. As for why they split…. Cut to A-Rod’s chronic wandering peen saying, “It wasn’t me!“, while winking.
It was just a couple of weeks ago when the definition of EXTRA’s favorite couple spread their love all over Instagram:
Those pictures were taken in the Dominican Republic where JLo is currently shooting Shotgun Wedding. A-Rod was with her, but Page Six says that he’s back in Miami where he’s getting ready for baseball season. People adds that the last time JLo and A-Rod were together was on March 1, and a source says that their split has been in the making for a while:
“This has been a long time coming. They are tied in their business worlds so it’s not a cut and dry relationship. It’s taken a while for them to even think about untangling it all.”
51-year-old JLo and 45-year-old A-Rod got together in early 2017, and in 2019, they got engaged in the Bahamas after he proposed to her with a ring that was almost as big as their egos. JLo was supposed to make A-Rod her fourth husband (and she would’ve been his second wife) in a big ass ceremony last year, but then the pandemic happened, and so they kept pushing the date. JLo was open about them going to couples counseling during the pandemic and said it made their relationship better. But then the cracks in their eternal love story began to show last month when a Bravo trick named Madison LeCroy, from the show Southern Charm, claimed she FaceTimed with A-Rod. The two apparently never met, and sources said that at the time that JLo wasn’t bothered by the cheating rumors, but Page Six says it’s the reason why she finally dumped his ass:
“The Madison LeCroy scandal was the reason they finally broke up. There were already problems, but Jennifer was really embarrassed by it.”
And as muscled-up blondies slide into A-Rod’s DMs and Jose Canseco cackles out an, “I told you so!“, JLo and A-Rod’s lawyers are probably furiously working to split up all their shit. Because JLo and A-Rod bought a $40 million Star Island mansion and a Manhattan penthouse together. They also invested in several companies together. I know, if JLo and A-Rod won’t stay together for the sake of their frozen foods and hair loss prevention empire, there’s no hope for any of us!
